I'm so pleased with my experience with Milan Pham! She made me feel welcome and informed throughout the entire process of obtaining my will, POA and healthcare POA. As a queer woman, it was especially nice for me to work with an LGBTQIA+ firm where I felt safe! I highly recommend this firm to other queer folks in the Durham area.

Milan Pham is amazing! My husband and I were very nervous about finding a trusted, competent, and honest lawyer in the area and we are overjoyed we found her. Milan understood our situation from day one, actually listened to us, and never tried to push any other agenda or change our minds (which was extremely important to us)! I called NicholosPham at one of the lowest points in my life- When I had been blindsided and left by my spouse with a six week old and a two-year-old having surgery the next day. Despite having busy schedule they took my case on and worked with me diligently, respectfully, and despite the complex nature of my case. I cannot say enough about them as people, as professionals, and as human beings. I highly recommend them, especially for the LGBTQ plus community, but even if you aren’t they are the best at what they do. I will be forever grateful for everything they did for me!

Working with Milan Pham and Kristin Retta was an amazing (and simple) experience. There are often extra legal obstacles that we as LGBTQIA+ people have to navigate. The last thing I want to spend time doing is educating my legal counsel on the community concerns and the frustration that some of those obstacles create. That was never something I had to think about with this group. They understood my concerns, answered all of my questions, and kept me informed on my case. I will genuinely recommend them to any else I know that could benefit from their services.

NicholsonPham represented my wife and I in a Gestational Carrier agreement. From the start, the team answered all of our questions and were even willing to expedite the process of our agreement with a nominal additional fee. The team was patient and responsive. They were thorough with easing all my wife's concerns and ensured that we understood the implications of different provisions of the agreement.They remained respectful and receptive throughout the entire process. The most important role this team played in this process, though, was their professional and supportive role when the agreement was unexpectedly terminated by the intended parents. This was an emotional time for my wife and she was heartbroken over the termination. The team listened to my wife's thoughts and concerns and carefully shepherded us through the process of terminating the agreement. Through the efforts of attorneys on both sides, the agreement was terminated to all parties' satisfaction. I certainly recommend this firm for their legal expertise in such a niche area of the law.
