I had the pleasure of working with Sam Dixon, when I encountered some difficulties with the North Carolina State Patrol. Sam and his staff were fast to respond, gave me excellent information, and were able to handle all of my issue remotely. Of note - I called six law firms that work in/around Dare County North County attempting to find strong representation: Sam Dixon's was the only one to call me back. This is the kind of firm I wanted to represent me. They had and continue to hold my total trust. I would 110% highly recommend Sam and his firm to assist with any issues you may have - when in/around the Outer Banks of North Carolina.

Highly recommend Dixon & Thompson for those dealing with a speeding ticket out of state. They made the whole process a breeze with a easy step by step process online and take care of everything very promptly. They were able to have my citation reduced to a non-moving violation, so it didn't effect my license or insurance. If for some reason I need legal assistance again in Tyrrell County I will be sure to contact them first.

Unfortunately, My wife and I have gotten 2 speeding tickets while heading down to Nags Head (Outer Banks). Drivers Beware: follow the speed limit signs because the police are lying in wait to pull over speeders and write citations. These are speed traps and money makers for these small communities. If you do find yourself with a speeding ticket, pick up the phone and call Sambo Dixon. He and his assistant Gray will get it taken care of for you. There’s no stress. I would highly recommend the law offices of Dixon & Thompson Law, PLLC in Edenton, NC if you ever get pulled over in Camden County and/or in any one of the other surrounding counties in eastern NC. My case was handled quickly and professionally by Dixon and Thompson and my case was reduced down to a city moving violation with no impact to my insurance rates and/or my license in any way. Also, I did not have to appear in court in Elizabeth City, NC and the case was settled in one month by my attorney.
