I contacted Dr. Loftin regarding a matter for which I may need an attorney. He invited me in and discussed the matter at length, despite not being "on the clock" and me not being a client. A credit to Hillsborough.

Professional, Genuine, Caring and Passionate are just a few of the adjectives to describe John Loftin. My wife and I hired John's firm to handle our Estate Litigation/Will Caveat case that we were involved in. We went into the Mediation not sure what to expect or even how it worked. John outlined what was happening, and what was going to happen and kept reassuring us that our game plan was still in tact. His mediation skills far exceeded our expectations. John took a very stressful situation that were in and made it very comforting for us. John's firm was recommended to us by a friend and we highly recommend him for your legal needs!

I hired John Loftin to represent my son who was in an accident and received several citations. Mr. Loftin wisely advised him on the steps he could take to help his case and as a result all charges were dropped. I am very grateful for his expertise and council in this matter.

We hired Mr. Loftin to get an alimony payment modified for my 89 year old father that can no longer afford the original payments. We found that emails were not read, he did not communicate with us even on basic things. We were working with him remotely as we live in another state. He just kept postponing the case and charging $500 each time he postponed when if he had asked for the information he needed we could have had something accomplished. At the end of the day we will try and get something back on the retainer as nothing was accomplished that we hired him to do because of his poor communication and lack of follow through.

This guy has no clue about simple trusts. He needlessly stirred up a family mess simply because he ran his mouth off to a family member that wasn't a beneficiary by telling that person he would in fact be entitled to a portion of the family trust. Only another attorney in his office set him straight.

I hired Mr. Loftin for more than one legal issue. He was very difficult to contact, rarely called back, and I spent a good bit of money for little effort. I thought that was how all lawyers operate, but now I know that is not the case. Mr. Loftin has been around for awhile, knows the judges, but that doesn't make his representation worth your money. I would not hire him again, even though I didn't lose a case. I spent a lot of money and a lot of worry on this guy...I suggest doing your research before hiring an attorney. I wish I had.

Met John in 2009 while in the hospital and still in touch with him till this day. Took my case and delivered not once but twice which I'm not able to talk about. He's someone you can trust with your case...thank big John!!! Robert L.
