Late one cold winter night, I made a poor decision. I drove home when I probably shouldn’t have. I was stopped, arrested, and taken downtown to jail. For someone like me, who has never gotten into trouble like this before, the process was terrifying and humiliating. As I scramble to call for help in the middle of the night, I try again and again to reach someone, when one picks up. The man on the other end of the line is calm, knowledgeable, and perhaps most of all, understanding. It’s Aaron. At this point I haven’t retained him, but he still provides me with clear instructions and immediately starts building my defense. I officially hire him the next morning. He meets me in person to explain my options and let me know my odds. He promises to fight for me and to be available to answer questions when they come up. He’s a very professional and genuine man. When the trial comes, I’m horribly nervous and honestly depressed from months of self-doubt. Until, I see my defender. He has a naturally warm and calming demeanor, especially when compared to the cold, impersonal nature of the State and prosecution. And Aaron isn’t just ready, he’s collected, he’s smooth, and he knows the law like its second nature. He breaks apart each argument the State provides and points to specific details about the law to justify my defense. It felt like something from a movie, watching this man artfully craft my case. Mr. Lee gave me some advice during a 30 minute consultation that explained the positive and negative consequences before a pending court date regarding a friend of mine, including details of what happened, warrantless blood searches, red flags of an attorney I was considering, including low fees, non-responsiveness to emails, no written agreement, and other matters regarding the case. I never had money for a lawyer they were always to high so I had a public defender until I got a letter in the mail referencing me to a board specialist lawyer at a great price, Aaron picked up my charges and got all of them dismissed within 6-8 months and he promised me that the first time I met em and kept his promise .Definitely Recommend!

I'm an out-of-state driver who was passing through NC, and was pulled over for very momentary speeding while I moved to the left lane just to pass cars in the right lanes on I-485. It was the first speeding ticket I’d ever received, and was issued a citation that could have resulted in a misdemeanor conviction. After another attorney made some mistakes handling my case, I contacted Aaron Lee and he charged much lower attorney’s fees than the first attorney — but he took (much!) more time to speak with me, prepare my case and vigorously defend me in court. And he got the charges in my case significantly reduced based on surrounding circumstances that the first (more expensive) attorney didn’t raise. Mr. Lee is very familiar with which defenses and mitigating circumstances to raise before prosecutors and judges in defending clients and seeking the best outcome possible. Mr. Lee also seems to have a good rapport with the judges because he appears before them often, which helps him know which defenses to best raise. Even if you’re paying a lower fee than other attorneys charge, Mr. Lee takes (more) time to speak and communicate with you in depth, and ensure your questions and concerns are addressed. He is also very down-to-earth when you speak with him. Mr. Lee is clearly passionate about defending clients, cares about them, and he gets results. I HIGHLY recommend him.

Aaron was the only lawyer we could get in touch with on a Sunday, and he was very quick to respond. He helped us out a lot by giving us advice on how to deescalate a situation, which ended up resolving all legal issues. He was very thorough and prepared me for any situation I could encounter. If I ever need legal services again, I will definitely be going to Aaron!
