They handled my refi. The refi went fine, I close to my requested date. The atty was nice, professional, and explained all the docs. I the signing went fast. Taylor did respond to all of my email ASAP and explained things well when asked. One issue I had was that I had to reach out to them to find out the lender hadn't contacted them for the title search, after 6 weeks. I feel that is something they should have been on top of or contacted me if there was any issues. I also didn't like that the prices I was quoted changed because my refi happened after the new year, which was disclosed ahead of time, but their fees changed. I felt they should have honored the original prices quoted to me because they were already representing me for the refi when the fees changed. I also wasn't notified of the increase. I had to see it on my CD and request clarification. I was told the fees changed and they would not honor the orginal quoted prices. It wasn't a huge difference but still...

Had to use them for closing. Told Them from the beginning I read everything I sign. Attorney kept trying to just give me the last page to sign and I had to keep asking for the whole document. Then when I started to read the documents he start asking me random questions (Are you working from home, etc.) while I’m concentrating on reading. You can tell he was just trying to get me out there as soon as possible. Rude and unprofessional. Don’t just sign, KNOW WHAT YOU ARE SIGNING. And they need to respect that and encourage people to do so.

Today we closed on our new build home, the paralegal was very courteous & professional.

Patterson was simply amazing. Answered all our questions and was very detailed with all the information he was providing to us. The receptionist was very pleasant as well. She got the room sanitized and cleaned for us and made sure all paperwork was out for us. Overall a great experience and I highly recommend Hinson Faulk.
