I hired Mr silva to simply get me into the court room while on a DWI probation violation and actually did my entire sentence while awaiting him to get me into court. multiple court dates came and passed until finally i said i wanted a refund. then he lied to me and said that he would leave the case but i would probably end up staying in jail longer if he didnt represent me. all the while (6 months) I had the most recent NCGS red and green books with me to study. Along with the NC school of law sentencing guide to study. so i knew for a fact that I had already maxed out my active sentence time and actually ended up doing 2 weeks extra because of his habit of continuing my court date rather than have my sentence activated and being given a set in stone release date. Horrible, Liar. NEVER TRUST A FORMER ADA AS A CRIMINAL DEFENSE ATTNY.
