Never had to hire a lawyer before and honestly wasn’t sure what to expect. Roy was fantastic and honest. Hope to never do business again lol but if we do we will contact him.

I cannot recommend Cape Fear Family Law highly enough. They continue to help me work through the nuances of my divorce and child custody. They have put together a bullet-proof plan to allow me to achieve my goals and have walked with me every step of the way. Granger took over my case halfway through my time with Cape Fear. I am amazed at how quickly he came to speed on all the complicated details of my case. Unfortunately, I was involved in a high-conflict custody dispute and my case was more complicated than many. This did not stop Granger from analyzing every detail, truly understanding the key points, and preparing us for trial. Granger took time after hours preparing and informing me on my case. When I got the desired result in my temporary custody case, I honestly felt as though he was genuinely as excited as I was. Not only is he a fantastic lawyer but his genuine concern was felt throughout the entirety of the process. Janet has overseen my case since the beginning. She is the reason I was originally referred to Cape Fear Family Law as she has a longstanding history of success. One of the things I most appreciated about her is that she "held my feet to the fire" and often played devil's advocate to help me understand the birds-eye view of my case and to refine any details needed to make my case as strong as possible. She was very supportive but made it clear the expectations of me and her extensive knowledge of the local court systems was vital in my understanding and preparation for my hearing. Azalea and Micha were the paralegals involved in helping me with my case. They were both very responsive to any questions or concerns that I had and were excellent communicators on behalf of legal team. 5 stars just isn't enough for this team. Highly recommend!!

2 stars because what we needed eventually got done, but I wouldn’t recommend. During our TPR we had 3 lawyers assigned to us. The second of which didn’t do much, but what he did do he messed up so badly that we got to pay for the 3 lawyer to fix everything. Communication isn’t great. Lots of “I’ll get the answer and call you back” which never comes. Including when they lost documents, we got to pay for the conversation for the conversations to find them. Isn’t that awesome. Long story short, I’d spend your money elsewhere.

Tyler handled my custody hearing with me and was very professional. He is very knowledgeable in the current laws and will be hiring him again if I have to go back to court.

Everyone here was so helpful and understanding, specifically my attorney Mr. Roy Jacobs. This was the first time I've had anything to do with court or even receiving an attorney, now I definitely have high expectations!

I have had a 3 year relationship with Brittany and Cape Fear Family Law as representation in my complicated and arduous divorce, PSS, ED and alimony cases. Brittany stuck by me through 'thick and thin' as they stay, remaining a constant anchor for me through it all. The straight forward and to the point manner in which she dealt with my questions, rantings and even sometimes meltdowns helped me understand the whys, hows, whats of this often frustrating and drawn out process. She is very knowledgeable, resourceful and organized in her prep and presentation and I like that at Cape Fear Law all the legal team helps/gives input if needed. Handled my separation and divorce professionally and fast.

Cape Fear Family Law, specifically Mr. Roy Jacobs, represented me during my child custody case and I could not be happier with his work. He and his paralegal, Ms. Azalea Pinter, were extremely easy to work with. They were professional and communicative. Mr. Jacobs calmed my fears and answered my questions thoroughly. Despite circumstances, Mr. Jacobs provided the best court experience for me. He advocated for me and spoke on my behalf. Although I hope I never have to hire him again, I would do it all over again 100%! I am absolutely thankful for him and I HIGHLY recommend him to you!
