Mr. Avery represented my (young adult) son recently, and I would give a 0 star if possible. My son received 0% counseling for his offence after paying thousands of dollars in fees. Mr. Avery drug his case out nearly 3 years. During this time my son would request zoom meetings to receive counseling for his offense and to ask questions and Mr. Avery would leave him sitting on the phone waiting, and was almost ALWAYS a no show. Mr. Avery NEVER returned phone calls or emails. Between myself and my son we drove 9 hours to appear in court after being told his case would finally be heard, Mr. Avery arrived hours late, continued his case (again) and told my son and myself "if you pay more money I can help you" in front of the entire courtroom. When his case was finally heard, Mr. Avery poorly represented him. I honestly think his case would have had a better outcome if he had represented himself. Afterwards, he received his plea in the mail and has not been able to receive any kind of explanation even weeks later. If you want to pay someone to waste your time and money Mr. Avery is the one for you.

The office assistant will lie to you in a heart beat. Not a very honest practice. Any lawyer can do "simple traffic tickets" doesn't mean they are a good criminal defense attorney or civil attorney. If you are seeking honesty, seek a different practice.

I've used these guys to resolve 3 speeding tickets over the past 5 years each time they get the charges reduced to the extent i get no points on my lisence an no effect to insurance premiums. Quality work

To start the staff are rude to the people calling. If you ask anything it is considered to be a legal question and they can't answer it.I guess they think they are something special. I wanted to know how much they charge for tenant landlord disputes but since they don't deal with it that much it was not possible to have an idea of how much it would cost. In order to know what the cost is you have to pay 150.00 to find out. The attorney will say it is to give legal advice but then wanted $2,500.00 up front. Now I am out 150.00 and all I got was for him to agree with me. On top of the 150.00 they wanted, I had scheduled a call for 4 pm on Thursday. I called in to pay 150.00 to talk to an attorney and he wasn't even there. It wasn't but till 5pm I finally received a call. I told the secretary that this wasn't a good start and she replied "sir, have you ever been in court?" Look, I don't go to court on a regular basis and if I did I probably wouldn't need some lousy firm to handle my situation. This is how they make their money. They want money for nothing then they make the bill so outrageous that it wouldnt make sense to stay with it. I was trying to collect 4300.00 from a tenant and he wanted 2500.00. THATS OVER HALF THE AMOUNT I WOULD BE COLLECTING. I am from Jacksonville Fl where attorneys want business so they work for it and they are on time for appointments. Never again will I even attempt to use or recommend these people to anyone. Do yourself a favor and ask to speak to someone that will be on time and a secretary that will respectful. You just might be their client so they should show some respect. Worst experience I have ever had with any attorney.

Terrible lawyers. Hired them to resolve a speeding ticket. Took them 5 months because they had other cases that I guess were more important. In the end they did resolve my case but it took them 5 months after my first court date to finally show up to one. Wouldn't hire them again.

Very expensive, found out years later that they didn't notify me of a Failure to Appear in relation to the case (speeding ticket) they represented me for. This turned out to be a major inconvenience costing me hours of time to rectify.
