Attorney Monica McKinnie did not stand up adequately for me as her client. --She was timid on challenging opposing counsel, failed to utilize the most poignant evidence provided to her, or to pursue the most aggressive lines of questioning to the plaintiffs (particularly as would show their ulterior motives), or to correct errors in the judge's findings of fact before the order was finalized --such that she was effectively collusive with the opposite side. (and hence, of ineffective assistance to me). After many protracted years of unnecessary child loss & going through the expense of other attorneys who failed to regain her lost ground, I've had to resort to my own defense. On separation of adults with no children & nothing but material assets to battle over, she MIGHT be just great. However, if child custody is at stake, don't use this attorney.
