I have an urgent issue that needs resolution within a day or two. I had a consultation for $50 and then the lawyer or his assistant would not even speak to me because i hadn’t paid a $1500 retainer. I told them i would be happy to pay it, even today i would pay it. However they still could not give me a timeline of when the paperwork could be done, only that “It would be their top priority.” I told them $1500 was a lot of money to not be sure they could do the paperwork in time. This was a complete waste of time and money. Meanwhile, a more local attorney spend 30 minutes on the phone with me and sent me a lengthy helpful email and some sample forms all for free. Would not use this office again unfortunately.
