Divorce is never easy. It is a frustrating and confusing process. I retained Collins Family Law and Candace Strickland because of the online reviews and ratings. I want to thank Collins Law Firm. I live in SC and I had a situation were I needed a SC & NC lawyer and they were fast in moving forward. Met me with in 24 hours at a court house on a emergency custody like 2 hours away from their office and stayed the whole day with me until I was able to get my children. This law firm knows what they are doing and I will refer them to anyone that I meet that needs a lawyer. They are lic. in SC & NC so It worked out great for me. Without going into a great deal of personal detail. Going through a very rough period in my my ex attempted to take full custody of our daughter. Candace was amazing when I met her I was unsure and low and n faith and she was strong, a fighter. Not only did she help give me the strength to get through that incredibly hard period but she fought and fought hard. In the end she achieved the outcome I was hoping for. Candace is bright, personable and tenacious. I think the quote “and tho she be but little, she is fierce” aptly fits her. I would highly recommend her.

Candace Faircloth represented me through a divorce/alimony/equitable distribution. She provided excellent professional knowledge, guidance, and advice during this difficult situation. Candace was always very approachable, responsive to my many questions and concerns, detailed, honest and compassionate. I greatly appreciated we could communicate via email and telephone as she is not located in my county of residence. The opposing attorney and his office were VERY unresponsive and difficult to work, which demanded more of Candace’s time and work- ultimately costing me far more than it should have! Candace remained classy and respectable, yet firm and assertive throughout the process, always working diligently to obtain the most favorable results on my behalf. My only wishes are I would have known to share EVERYTHING with the judge and most of all -- the process would not have turned out to be SO expensive.
