I would encourage you to not use this law firm for your real estate closings. I’m an attorney and they wouldn’t extend a professional courtesy to me so I’m sure they won’t to you reading this either. They have a policy to not wire sale proceeds from closings and to instead use checks. They think issuing quarter million dollar checks is safer than confirming wiring instructions. They also don’t tell you this until the closing is about to happen. In 2023 there are a lot of digital banks with no physical locations to deposit checks, and large checks that exceed mobile deposit limits can cause problems for sellers. This law firm is happy to accept wires from buyers however!

I had Brady for my divorce and it was the worst experience ever. She is completely incompetent and has no business being a lawyer.

I wouldn't go anywhere else in Carteret County.

I recently visited Oriental NC and we spent the day in Beaufort and surrounding area sightseeing. After a long day returning to our VBRO I got a speeding ticket leaving Beaufort at dusk. Ms. Brady's law firm handled it for me. Her office treated me with with professionalism and kindness. I was able to take care of the ticket without missing work and a long trip down to Morehead City for a court date. I recommend Kirkman Whitford Brady Berry and Gordan P.A. Ms Brady and her staff are very efficient and trustworthy. Thank you for your help.
