I needed a legal matter attended to on a timeline that I couldn’t make it into town for. For many years in New Bern I had reached out to the same attorney. But after many years in the practice, my go-to was finally retiring. He recommended I reach out to Marc Chestnutt and gave him the highest endorsement. I have to tell you, with lawyers, accountants, or tax specialists, I really hate to change horses. But I have to say Marc and his team were fantastic… Covered my issue completely without my having to lift a finger. They have my complete confidence and I hope to get many more years out of the same relationship. Marc, many thanks to you you and your team.

To be honest, I don’t know what my expectations were when I first stepped into Mr.Bettis’ office. I had no idea where to begin in trying to explain my circumstances, but he was patient in listening to my seemingly endless explanations on situations I felt were important enough to bring up. Mr. Lee and his amazing staff have been so great in keeping me informed, every step of the way. They’ve thoroughly explained what my next steps will be, depending on any of the possible outcomes of my situation; you wouldn’t believe what that, alone, has done for me and my mental health. I can tell you what I was not expecting… I was not expecting such a genuine feeling of concern/caring from an attorney AND his staff. I was not expecting to feel heard and validated in the way I felt regarding my situation. I was not expecting to find true justice in everything that I, and my children, have been dealing with, for years. Ohhhh, and my biggest surprise came in the court room! Mr. Lee was an absolute BEAST, in the BEST WAY possible. I was SO NERVOUS that my entire body was shaking (and I mean SHAKING); however, once my attorney started to speak, my nerves were almost immediately calmed. This is because he actually knew what he was talking about! While my situation is far from resolved, I can tell you that I’m so glad that Mr. Lee is in MY corner! (And it actually feels like he’s genuinely in my corner - and that means the absolute world to me!) I’ll be sure to update once everything is settled, but yea, if you’re looking for an attorney and staff that actually cares, is willing to listen, comes PREPARED (in every sense of the word) for court, and is willing to fight for you, You’ve found the right law firm!
