If you’ve got an unconnected divorce perhaps this may be the firm for you. If you require aggressive litigation, definitely find another firm/ legal representative. Save yourself the $$, and hire someone else! Daniel Potter is a sub par attorney, spend your hard earned money elsewhere.. you’ll end up having to anyway!

Had to hire this guy for a simple "center lane violation" because I was away for work in Indiana. The ticket happened in Trenton, there was a truck in front of me loaded with junk with hazard lights flashing and going about 25 in a 55. I simply went around him on a double yellow. Unmarked pickup truck pulled me over and cited me for a "center lane violation". Officer Wells said he was only giving me a ticket because had a rookie riding with him that day and stated the ticket would not carry any points on license. Could not make the court date as I was away on work in Indiana so called Carolina Law Group and they said they'd never heard of such a violation but they would most likely get it reduced to a "seatbelt violation" (with a $10 court cost fine) even though I had my seatbelt on and that had nothing to do with the citation. Just found out after paying $200 to this guy that he had it "reduced" to an improper equipment and I would have to pay an additional $266 in court cost. So a $200 ticket now costs me $466 for something Jones County Sheriff's deputy said would not carry any points though Carolina Law Group states that it would carry points if I had paid the citation online. Why Jones County Sheriff's department didn't pull the vehicle over in front of me for impeding traffic is beyond me but one thing is for sure law enforcement and lawyers in this area are only looking out for the courts and putting money in their pockets. The real issue here is with the Jones County Sheriff's department, maybe it's time for the SBI to look into their "narcotics" operations. And with that being said who knows what goes on with the lawyers and judges in Jones, Carteret, and Craven counties in terms of monetary exchange. We all know how the game is played in the local judicial systems around here, "you give me this and I'll give you that". Edit for response: Great results? It would've been dropped had I been able to show up and was not working on a project in Indiana. Tell me how the initial court costs were $191 for the simple traffic citation and after paying you to show up for me, I am now having to pay $266 in court costs? How is that great results, you increased my court costs, that certainly does not define great. Another reason not to hire this guy, folks, he's looking out for the courts apparently.
