I had hired another lawyer, but replaced him as soon as I spoke with Mr. Little. James didn’t over promise, but gave me confidence he knew the anxiety this matter was causing, and the hope that he would have it dismissed entirely. He talked to me like a person, not a case file. Mr. Little did have the matter dismissed on the first court date, while I’m still waiting on the refund from the first lawyer.

Hands down the best law firm in Raleigh NC! I have never been a client, but spent some time advocating at the courthouse. I have seen James Little and Aaron Goforth in action. Both were sharp, well spoken, good eye contact and seemed to have a good rapport with DA and Judge. In closing I would absolutely recommend this team!

I recently had a very disappointing experience with HLB. From the beginning, I felt they treated me with a lack of respect. The attorneys—particularly Tina Frazier Pace—and the staff I interacted with seemed dismissive of my concerns, and at times, I was even spoken to in a condescending manner. Worse still, I encountered multiple situations where I believe the firm was dishonest about their actions or the status of my case. Whenever I asked direct questions about progress, I was given vague answers that later turned out to be misleading. This made me question the integrity of their practice. Overall, I felt that HLB did not have my best interests at heart, and some of their promises appeared to be nothing more than empty words. Based on my experience, I cannot in good faith recommend them to anyone seeking genuine legal support, respectful treatment, or transparent communication.

I called for help with accident/injury and criminal defense from an ad. When I spoke with someone from the criminal defense team they were rude and unprofessional. Also the "help" I received was clearly from a Google search and also largely inapplicable. I understand that consultation exists for a reason but so does professionalism.
