Atty Harris was the only lawyer in NC I could find that was willing to help me hold a school system accountable and not charge me an exorbitant fee. I hired attorney Harris to represent my daughter in a case against a school/district where my daughter was wrongfully suspended. I provided a wealth of evidence and documentation and at the time of the hearing attorney Harris asked very few questions to opposing council and school staff. I felt like she was on the side of the school/district instead of my daughter’s side. I was extremely disappointed and she offered only a 30 minute prep right before the hearing. I don’t think she had the time nor reviewed my case as she was paid to do.
