Very nice of Mr monks to refer me to another affiliate of him.

Mr. Monks was a fantastic man and a great attorney to deal with. It is unfortunate he decided to retire but we always had great experiences with him.

This review is long overdue. So overdue that Google reviews did not exist at the time I needed help from the Monks team. I recently had a friend get a ticket in NC coming back to FL and tonight I told her of the time I had got 2 tickets in NC and had I not had the help of an amazing lawyer to negotiate them, I may have never been able to relocate for work, as I wouldn't have had a drivers license or ability to use a vehicle. Looking now back at how that would have negatively impacted my life and had I not the help of the Steve and the Monks team, things in my life could have played out differently and I would not be where I am today. Reflecting on that, I wanted to now, even though now its many years later and with the ability to do it online, let the Monks team and anyone else know that I appreciate everything you did for me to fight those two driving infractions and that it changed the trajectory for me for all the better. In case I did not emphasize it then, I am saying it now, that I appreciate all the efforts of Steve and his team. Thank you.

I am very grateful to be able to meet mr monks and his whole entire team they were very helpful towards my immigration status even when I was in a bad place in 2020 they made me feel alive again after so much things I had going on. But In 2021 god open doors for me and my family after spending lots of money to pay for my paper work medical exams and going thru the interview at the end it worked out very well and I am very happy to be a premident resident in the USA I feel free again can’t stop smiling thank u so much mr Steve monks and ms gabby god bless .

The Monks is a great law firm and I only need a consultation. He was very informative and even told me the steps I need to take with my case. I am happy with my results. I feel like I can take on the world and if anything goes wrong I know I will have help at any time day or night.

Monks law shows interest in their clients and always are very nice, I've been going with them for a while every time I need to renew, prices are also reasonable. Ohh and they called you back if you leave a message.

Steven was great to work with and really had a good grasp of the details of my family law case, but with a super aggressive opposing party, I don't feel that Steven is in the right element in family court. If you are in an immigration or criminal case, or if you have a family court case and are not dealing with a super litigious, agressive x-wife, then I think Steven is the perfect lawyer for you. Unfortunately I was in such a case. The trouble was that in court he did not strongly push the facts supporting the case, and was very quick to agree to things in closed chambers with the judge without properly running it by his client first. These closed chambered meetings that were not recorded with the judge and opposing counsel led to over a years worth of fighting on discovery issues due of a conflicting view of what was decided, and my opposition to what was agreed on. Steven is great with communication and is good at working with his client, but seems too flexible and hesitant to speak up in court in ways that might upset the judge or the opposing counsel. I think this might be the way to go in criminal or immigration type trials, but with the viciousness exhibited in family courts, especially with a very aggressive opposing party, I don't think that this is a good arena for him. It is unfortunate that I can only give him two stars, as I really like working with him, but I think this was really just not the type of case that he could shine in.
