Rick was a pleasure to do business with. He was thorough and responded quickly and efficiently. He took great care of my needs and helped me resolve my case and move on. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone. I hope I never need to use him again but if I do I know I'm in good hands.

I called a local attorney who is very popular here in Eastern NC. He said he could take my case but told me that Rick McNeil was simply the best in the state for this kind of litigation and resolution (lemon law issue). I called right away and was put right through. Rick laid out my case for me and spoke for the better part of an hour. He referred me to arbitration and told me to call if I needed him or if arbitration didn't reach a fair settlement. Rick is honest and knowledgeable. He has restored my faith in our justice system and that an attorney can care more for people than the dollar. If you are struggling with a clear lemon warranty auto issue, Rick is your man.

Rick is a top notch Lemon Law Attorney. Upon my first consultation he broke down the whole process to me in detail. He is very well versed on this part of the law. I had a 2016 vehicle bought brand new. Issues started occurring around 7500 mi. I got the run around from the dealership and after five or more visits to the dealer with no resolve I contacted Rick. Within a couple of weeks the case was settled in my favor. I do not wish this on anyone but if it happens to you call Rick McNeil.

We had a brand new SUV that was chronically in the shop after only 3 months of ownership. After the fourth visit to repair the same issue, we contacted Rick to understand what options were available to convince the manufacturer that the car is excessively problematic. Rick reviewed the process of filing a lemon law claim and didn't ask for any money up front. Only after an agreement was made and accepted by us would his firm take any payment. If we didn't accept an offer from the manufacturer, his firm wouldn't ask for any payment. In addition, his fees would come from the acceptable representation conditions of the law and not from the settlement for our case. This was very appealing and let us know he would be working hard to find the best solution and not seek endless retainer fees.
We sent Rick all of the receipts and documentation of the repairs and he sent a letter to the manufacturer. After a couple months and two more trips to the dealer for repairs, the manufacturer agreed to buy back our SUV which was an offer we accepted. The buy back enabled us to buy another brand and not take a massive depreciation hit by having to trade the car in to get away from it.
During the process Rick kept us in the loop the entire time and was very patient and friendly each time we spoke. I would highly recommend Rick for lemon law representation; the process was painless and no risk.
(I chose not to disclose the manufacturer given we had purchased 5 new cars from them since 2005 and this one was an anomaly. We chose a different brand after the buyback, but they did the right thing by buying the car back and only deducting nominal mileage, I respect them for that)
