He will go over any concerns that you may have in regards to your case. You never feel rushed!! A big plus, Mr. Berggren will work with you on payments in regards to his fees for filling Bankruptcy. Mr. Berggren's Secretory is a sweetheart. She will offer you something to drink, that is unheard of at most Law Firms. William (Bill) Berggren is awesome; this is why: Over a year ago he helped me with Chapter 7. The other day (about 15 months later--and I am no longer a client/paying for his time) I call him for some needed documentation. I was thinking I would leave a voicemail and get the info within a week or so since I am not longer a client and this is probably not going to be his top priority. * Nope! Within 5 min. of calling him directly I had the info I needed in my inbox and he was happy to do it! In 2014 when I started the process, from the moment I sat down with him during the initial consultation, he let me know what to expect and how to plan. From Aug, 2014 until everything was complete in March 2015 Bill was with me every step of the way. He made a difficult decision and process as painless as it could be. If I had a question he would answer it the same day. His staff is professional and courteous, always willing to help and always answering emails quick. He sat with me at court and guided me through everything. There was no hidden fee's or additional cost. Absolutely everything he told me went according to plan. I truly feel like Bill cared about my situation and showed a true compassion for my wellbeing. Bill is not just "another lawyer." He went above and beyond what was ever expected. I am in a much better place now all thanks to his professionalism, help and guidance.

I have had a wonderful experience with Mr. Berggren and his team. I had no clue what bankruptcy was or what steps I needed to take in my situation. I was given options and all of the questions that I had were answered in the same day. I don't regret the decision that I made to file bankruptcy that day. I am very satisfied with my decision now that my chapter 13 is finished. The chapter 13 payments were set when I filed and I made my payments with no problem. Mr. Berggren was referred to me when I felt like I had no other option but to declare bankruptcy. On my first visit, I had no knowledge of the process and was so ashamed and embarrassed that I cried a lot throughout the appointment. Mr. Berggren, was patient, sympathetic, and answered every question I had - even the stupid ones. He was reassuring and explained everything to me. He didn't rush me, but took his time and sometimes he had to explain things several times. His fee was lower than most, but the service was more than great. During the process, he was always available for questions, and guided me in the best direction that I needed for my circumstances (while taking the time to explain all options). I could not have picked a better attorney and I would recommend his services to anyone. Bankruptcy is a hard decision and used as a last resort, but he made it less stressful by being extremely reassuring throughout the whole process. I would recommend him to anyone without hesitation.

Considering the option of filing bankruptcy kept me awake many nights. When I finally built up the courage to contact an attorney, I pulled out my yellow pages and began making calls (I didn't want to ask friends or family if they had been in the same situation because I felt embarrassed and was still in denial). I contacted a few firms but Mr. Berggren and his assistant Mai were just what I needed to begin this process. My initial telephone contact with Mai was more than I bargained for. She was knowledgeable, patient and very easy to talk to. I was able to get an appointment within that same week and was ecstatic to find that the knowledge and patience didn't stop at Mai. Mr. Berggren was very thorough and made sure I understood every part of the process, every step of the way. He made it impossible to feel nervous. I am thankful to both Mr. Berggren and Mai for their professionalism and attentiveness.

I'm so thankful I scrolled across Adams, Portnoy & Berggren, PLLC Attorneys At Law. First of all the staff is Professional, knowledgeable, courteous, and respectful. The Legal Assistant Mai Foulkrod helped me with my case. I had no choice, but to the point of poverty level after my Husband passed away struggling years. I have been a full time College Student this past year and decided ultimately that Chapter 7 was my best option. I will explain it this way...You will not feel in the dark. Mai is kind, helpful, hardworking, optimistic, thorough, with many years of experience so there's no worry about anything coming back on you. Her duty is to prepare everything for the Lawyer, in which she was personally trained by Berggren alongside her degree. Their success rate is over 99% from what I've heard. This Law firm is above the rest in the Triangle area. We got caught in the financial bubble and wanted to get our debt under control. We tried our bank and of course they said NO.... Than we went to another firm and they wanted us to sell everything we worked hard for...That was not a option. My husband found William Berggren. And of course there was Mia, Mr. berggren assistant/paralegal. We have since falling a couple of times but each time Mr. Berggren had our best interest in the fore front at all times.We are soon to meet our obligation and begin again.
