Angela Haas helped me work out a parenting agreement with my ex. Angela's help was invaluable, especially in keeping the matter out of court for the kids' benefit -- they had plenty to handle already. I and my son, who Angela hadn't met in person, saw Angela in an unrelated context, and she instantly remembered his name and story. I was impressed. Since then, I have been back to see Angela about a different legal matter -- estate planning -- and she gave me advice that might well have cut her out of additional work. This is not how I think of lawyers. Again, I was impressed. I am now seeking advice about yet another legal matter. Angela Haas is my first choice.

I hired Angela as an attorney for my divorce and child support/custody case. Angela is an excellent attorney. She is very smart, proactive, fair, and understanding. She took the time to understand my situation and get me the best results possible. She also communicated with me very well throughout the entire process and helped me to understand the law(s) and my rights as well as the options for getting the most favorable outcomes. I have also call her for legal advise after my divorce and child support case was finished. I highly recommend her and will hire her again if I have any legal needs.

I never thought I would need a lawyer. I never expected the terrible things you read about or see on TV to become "real" in my life. It happened. Haas is a sincere, knowledgeable and credible attorney. As her client I felt she took my case personal and delivered everything she had promised. During a difficult custody scenario, the office staff and her alike were patient, thorough with explanations and compassionate. I had a previous lawyer who I used and had to end up firing her because she drained my money and was not interested in looking out for my best interest. it dragged on and on forever. I didn't get this treatment at all with Angela. Angela was very professional, a go getter and very practical. she would advise me whether or not to pursue something as it was a good use of my time/money or to turn it away as it was a bad use of my time/money. we consulted on things to make sure my children and I were protected. If I would have hired Angela to begin with my divorce would have been over so much smoother/quicker and I would have saved tons of money and headaches. If you hire Angela, she will get the job done right the first time!

Prior to the United States Supreme Court ruling legalizing same-sex marriage on June 26, 2015 (Obergefell v. Hodges 576 U.S. ____ (2015)), those of us in same-sex relationships and raising families found ourselves in precarious legal positions when those relationships no longer worked. Even with the Obergefell ruling, same-sex couples today still face a multitude of legal challenges when it comes to co-parenting issues. Unfortunately, I found myself in such a position in the early of months of 2009 and sought the counsel of Haas & Associates, P.A. as my legal representation in a messy child custody case for my then seven year old daughter. I did extensive research in the fall of 2008, searching for the right firm to best represent my interests and those of my daughter. I was in the midst of watching helplessly as my long-term relationship disintegrated and me unable to save it. While they are not the right firm for this new fight (an out-of-state matter), they have continued to offer me guidance on how best to proceed. I found Angela Haas on line. I had never had a legal problem before and went to see her feeling very frantic, scared, miserable and emotionally depleted. In my mental state at the time, all I wanted was to get out of my 20-year marriage -- with nothing!!! Angela was very attentive to my state of mind and explained to me my entitlements as a wife and stay-at-home mother of 4. I was totally ignorant of the legal process and completely lost with the legal terminology, but she was so very patient and would spend all the time needed to break everything down to me in simple layman language.
