I got pulled over going 22mph over and subsequently received a ticket with a court appearance. I immediately went on Google, looked up traffic lawyers in the area, and saw Douglas Portnoy at the top of the list. I called Doug, explained my situation, and he reassured me he could my ticket reduced to an improper equipment charge (best case scenario other than dismissal). Leading up to my court date, Doug kept me updated and continued to reassure me about a positive outcome for my traffic ticket. Fast forward to my court date, and true to his word, Doug was able to get my ticket reduced to an improper equipment charge. Doug is a true professional and will get the job done. I would 100% recommend choosing Doug to represent you if you find yourself in a similar situation as I did.

I got a speeding ticket back in September. The last time I got one was back in high school (2009). I spoke with Doug, and he reassured me he could get it dropped to "equipment failure." Doug was extraordinary! I strongly recommend Douglas Portnoy for any traffic ticket. And his fee was better than other lawyers' fees. I was so shocked and nervous after receiving a dreadful, “driver-license-losing” traffic ticket, I didn’t know what to do. Doug was calm and practical. He guided me on the actions that I had to take during the five weeks in-between my ticket receipt and my court date. I followed his recommendations and Doug attained the best outcome possible for my ticket! P.S. If you’re like me…. after I got my traffic ticket, AND had started working with Doug, I was inundated with letters and phone calls from lawyers. Doug is a very courteous, straight forward and proactive lawyer! I messaged him a while back but never ended up pulling the trigger, I reached back out a couple months later and he honored the quote he gave me and within a week he had fixed my case! This case was 12 years old and I was so lost and helpless, every lawyer I called made it seem so complicated! But Doug was super communicative and helped me out!
