Very professional. From my first meeting all the way up to my settlement I was greeted with patience and compassion. Halima was great really the whole staff down to the reception A1. I recommend the Raleigh office to anyone with a injury case. They know what they're doing.

I hired Marcari, Russotto, Spencer & Balaban to represent me in a car accident that happened in 2014. My case was mishandled from the beginning from by this firm. I would never in good conscience recommend them to anyone. After having my case for years and days before my deposition-- my case was handed to a new attorney and never told to me. I should have had the option to pick my OWN attorney. After meeting the new attorney and speaking with him, it became very obvious they didn't have all of the information needed. ALL of this info had been provided by me via phone calls, releases, and emails. They were also provided the names of all my doctors, specialists, pharmacies etc but that information was NOT in my case. My life has been changed due to this car accident that I was a PASSENGER in. The right people were never sued in the lawsuit. Deadlines went over to even attempt to sue them. A settlement that should have been MUCH more resulted in me negotiating terms with my lawyer for an embarrassingly low amount. . This barely covers the cover of medical bills and medicine over the years and has no reflection on my current health or future needs as far as treatment. I had a hard time getting in touch with my attorney. The paralegal was unapproachable and condescending. She made it difficult to get current information about my case. I felt at times I had to make, what I felt were obvious suggestions, to my legal team and I have no law degree. My phone calls to my attorney went unanswered and I had to contact a partner, Mr. Spencer. I had to SUGGEST to my lawyer that after not hearing from my specialist for nearly a YEAR-- that he send a certified letter. The things I asked to be done for my case simply weren't done and ignored. I had 3 or 4 paralegals handling my case which resulted in missed information, missed deadlines and things not being filed. I was told by my attorney Mr. Garland that he felt this settlement was my best offer. I'm mentally exhausted from all of this so I accepted. I will never get what I truly deserve 100% due to this practice. My attorney Michael Garland was passed down a really bad situation when he was handed such a poorly managed case. His current paralegal Michael Nystrom was the one bright light. He is phenomenal and treats you like a person and not a client. When you hire a law firm you should be able to relax and trust they have your best interest in mind. This is NOT the case. The #1 and ONLY reason I hired this firm was for Don Marcari and his ties to the Marine Corps, as we are very affiliated with them and have many Marines in our family. This firm uses that to attract business but does not hold any of the core values that they advertise behind. If you are a family or friend of mine I suggest staying away. If you are anyone who has NO time to micromanage your own case--- stay away. If I knew how to file a legal malpractice case I'd definitely do it because they mismanaged my case SO poorly that settling to cut all ties with this law firm seemed like my only option. +~+~++~ After reading some of these google reviews it looks like it's a good practice. It looks like they are attentive. It appears that when they handed my case to Mr. Garland-- I never stood a chance. I do agree that they change paralegals A LOT. I dont know if this is because of attorneys or the firm. I know I had 4 paralegals over my case the whole time. That's a lot of opportunity for holes in a case. I can still only speak to my experiences with the firm and due to that and that alone-- I'd not recommend them.

Worst experience ever. My attorney Mike Garland has been disrespectful and incapable of wrapping our case up. Although, we had 1 positive experience with the firm our interactions with Mr. Garland were more than disgraceful and we would never recommend anyone here.

After reading a review by a former employee at this law firm, as another employee at this law firm, I could not keep silent. I have been with this law firm close to 11 years. There has never been a day I did not look forward to going to my employment with Marcari, Russotto, Spencer, and Balalan Attys. These men ARE fine gentleman, caring, understanding and a complete joy to associate with at all times. They DO care about their employees and staff. When one of my family members needed a kidney and I was a match, without question the partners and employees supported my family with vim and vigor. They gave me "as much time as you need to recover." Brad Balaban even picked me up at home and took me to the airport to fly to New Jersey for the surgery. I dont feel it is the right thing to do to write our own reviews, but as stated, I just couldn't keep silent. These are fine men and shouldn't be slandered due to a short lived employee. The truth be known, I'm probably the hardest person to get along with at this law firm, certainly not Don, Dave, David, and Brad. In closing, please know that I believe in this firm, the employees, the associate attys, and our clients. We ARE a family.... Tony

HORRIBLE !!!!! JUST HORRIBLE!!! You get a new paralegal every other month!!!! You will never talk to your attorney.......This place appears to be a sweatshop, they BS you at the beginning, but once you sign, you will never get anyone on the phone and it will take forever to get your case settled! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! GO ANYWHERE ELSE!!! YOU WILL GET MORE MONEY HANDLING IT YOURSELF!!
