DASH and Lauren Steele were a GODSEND to myself, family, and more importantly, my 89 year old father. Our situation was a bit different to say the least. Lauren took a difficult situation and turned it into a BIG POSITIVE. My Dad had purchased this home 47 years ago for his family of six. We had many wonderful years there and had a beautiful, custom addition and renovation added in the 70’s. Fast forward to the present, due to unforeseen medical issues with my Mom, my parents had to move to an assisted living facility, unwillingly. This once beautifully renovated home had seen better days. Due to their advanced age, they had been unable to maintain the home as it should be. Being overwhelmed and lacking the finances to renovate, we kids advised our dad to sell as is. We were fielding offers much less than desired for his future needs. DASH and Lauren Steele to the rescue! Lauren stepped in, understanding our situation—seeing the houses’ potential and pulled the unthinkable! She was able to secure a price over $100,000 more than the offers we were fielding! Beyond that, she was knowledgeable, empathetic and extremely patient! My Dad may be 89, but he, too, knew the potential of this home. He is not a pushover and made sure to ask questions, dotted all the i’s, crossed all the t’s to exhaustion! If my Dad had listened to his kids, he would have received much less than he received. Fortunately, DASH, Lauren Steele and my Dad came together-a perfect storm resulting into the most positive experience! I cannot thank DASH and Lauren enough for their assistance, taking on this difficult situation! They went above and beyond, more than what you see from larger Realty companies!
