My experience was not positive. The day before scheduled closing, I still had not been contacted to set up an appointment. At CoB, I finally called them. I'm pretty certain someone there gets paid to do this and it wasn't my responsibility. I was put on hold, no one ever answered. Someone finally called the next morning, after the other party was there for his appointment and showed his displeasure that I wasn't scheduled. I was squeezed in for that afternoon. When I arrived, I was surprised to see one employee wearing leggings, another wearing denim. The paperwork was drawn up by the attorney and reviewed by the assistant and was given to me to sign, and I found a $12,000 mistake. And then the assistant wanted to 'white it out'. She also did not know that it was a commercial property, not a residential, which requires different paperwork, and then tells me, 'well, it doesn't really matter anyway'. I had already filled out paperwork asking how I wanted to receive the money several times, but was asked to do it again. I was told check would be in the mail in 1-2 business days. After one and a half weeks of checking the mail and starting to get worried, I receive an email, with more paperwork, and asking, again, how I wanted to receive the money. First, I was not told there would be more paperwork or a delay in receiving the money. Second, the paper was simply an itemization of the numbers they already had and should have only taken one business day. When, I didn't sign immediately, I began receiving emails twice a day to do so. Could not contact me initially, but now you can harass me daily? I finally asked to have the attorney contact me -whom I never not once ever spoke to during this whole process. Instead, he voided the document and I never heard from him. This entire experience was inefficient, chaotic, frustrating, and unprofessional.
