Cons
1
Concerns about the firm's billing practices, with some clients feeling that the firm "nickel and dimed" them or spent retainer funds without adequate justification
“I felt that the practice did nickel and dime me. For example, I believed during the custody process that negative mishaps with my ex, such as, verbal/emotional abuse, rashes, poor behavior with the children, prior DV, calling for "well checks" incessantly, filing false charges, harassing daycare, etc. would carry more weight in court and should be communicated to my attorney to leverage less time for him due to him not acting or behaving appropriately for the children. However, this was not the case.”
2
Perceived lack of experience or understanding of certain complex legal situations, such as out-of-state custody moves or military-related cases
“However, she doesn't seem to have experience with out of state custody moves/ military and many pieces of our standing agreement are unclear now that it is in play.”
