I can not say enough great things about Susan and Sandlin Law Firm. I was referred to this firm when I moved here in 2016 while going through an ugly divorce. I have used Susan for the past 7 years and have referred her to friends that need a knowledgeable attorney who will have their back. This is a lawyer who believes she knows better than doctors and therapists. Calling herself a parental coordinator, she will and does choose sides. She will give legal advice to the side she chooses (have evidence). She will disregard forensic evaluations and come to her own faulty conclusions (have evidence). She will tell you not to take child support to prevent conflict (have audio recorded evidence and it’s illegal). Have an audio recording of her telling the parent she is qualified to make decisions in others lives because she believes she is a good parent. Vindictive if you question her processes, trying to ensure punishments are incurred by the court for disobeying her (have evidence). She doesn’t collaborate with children’s therapists. She responds poorly to emails, acting southern stupid by repeatedly saying “I don’t understand what you are saying” and then charge you for it rather than get on a call you requested. Will grant the psychological abuser more time to psychologically abuse the child when it was found that the parent couldn’t maintain appropriate boundaries with the child and needed restrictions on time. Basically she is a negative advocate who perpetuates conflict for her own monetary gains. I can’t believe I witnessed this nightmare that made me lose faith in the system. She will seek retaliation, but she will be retaliating against the wrong person as I am only a witness to what she did to the parent and the children. I am just a disgusted citizen that this is the behavior of our court systems, and it prevails without checks and balances.

Not only is Susan an experienced, highly skilled attorney, what sets her apart is her ability to listen without pushing an agenda. Such a rarity in family law! Because she took the time to understand the outcome I was looking for, she was able to clearly lay out options and associated consequences. She guided me through a very tough journey, and I am forever grateful!
