I was charged with a DWI back in October 2015.. The Asheville police DWI task force charged me with DWI. My income solely depends on transportation to and from job sites and to perform service calls. I really thought this was it, I am being charged with DWI when I was not impaired. Mr Minick was able to prove my innocence thru trial. I highly recommend his firm to anyone who has been charged with a DWI. Mr. Minick is the DWI guy!

James Minick was my attorney for an alleged DUI/DWI. He went above and beyond with regard to my case. He requested video tape and official documents from the officer and the state. Without this evidence I would have lost my case! He proved that what the officer recalled 6 months later was not, as it had happened. He also was incredibly knowledgeable with current laws and requirements for being detained/arrested. His thorough questioning of the current laws/education of the officer and mistaken recall of the officer, actually gave me a fair trial! I was found not guilty! Just so happened to notice this firm in town while I was in a pinch. The attorney on my case appeared confident and was very professional, explaining certain nuances of the legal system and answering my many, many questions.
