Real Estate attorney gets the job done

My mother had passed a few months ago and my father and I required some legal help during the paperwork process. I do not live nearby and called this firm on the account of it being close to my fathers residence. I am the one who called to set up the appointment because my father is extremely hard of hearing, especially on the telephone. While trying to explain what was needed to the receptionist she stated to have my father “put his big boy pants on and handle this himself”. I was a little taken aback by that comment and explained why he was not in fact taking care of it himself. I had made an appointment with the attorney of the firm but after that remark I decided to make an appointment elsewhere. I called back an hour later to cancel my appointment. To which a man answered and when I told him I was canceling hurriedly rushed my off the phone, never asking if I wanted to reschedule or why I was canceling. I would have been happy to share the reason. This afternoon I get a very angry call from the attorney himself demanding to know why I had missed an appointment from him yesterday. I explained I had canceled that appointment weeks ago and told him I had spoken to a gentleman about it. He stated he was the only one there besides his receptionist. So clearly it was him I had spoken with. He was very condescending and rude on the phone as I tried to explain I had canceled soon after I made the appointment. I explained to him what his receptionist said and he stated “she would never say anything like that”. I am not one to hear things that people never actually say so I am sure this conversation took place. I tried to share that with the attorney but he decided he was done with this conversation and hung up on me. I’m assuming he was fishing for compensation from my canceled appointment and did not care to be proven wrong. I would highly recommend finding an attorney more professional for any of your needs. Unless you are wondering why lawyers tend to get a bad stereotype, then I would say he is the right one for you.
