I recently had the opportunity and privilege to work with Burney & Jones law firm for a traffic violation that was NOT an easy one to have go away. Due to a traffic situation, I was not able to move over to another lane for an emergency vehicle and was given a ticket for this. The state trooper was young and even though I pleaded my case, there was no recourse except to accept the consequences. I had heard through friends that Burney and Jones, specifically Emily Jones Queen, was an excellent firm to contact. No truer words could have been spoken. Emily and her staff were a joy to work with... kind, caring and truly professional and thorough in their response to my situation. They were upfront concerning the process needed to dismiss the case, the legal fee involved. Emily represented me at the appointed court date and even got a continuance so that I could complete the required driving course. After all that, Emily made a concerted effort to go before the judge PRIOR TO the scheduled court date and was able to get the violation dismissed with no additional court costs, no increased insurance costs and no points against my driving record. Needless to say, I was most impressed by her competence as a fine lawyer and an even finer individual. Five stars does not come close to the rating this law firm deserves and I most assuredly would recommend them for ANY type of personal crisis.
