If you have any plans on being free for something you didn't do do not higher at this fur he is what we call a public Pretender the District Attorney's puppet and favor for the courts this man do not let me file one motion for a speedy trial and did not let me file one motion for dismissal he waived every right to my court appearance in favor for the district attorney with a made-up kidnapping thank God for William pedigree Who was appointed to me by Supreme Court Judge Hockenberry I wrote that man and told him my constitutional rights were being violated on the 4th and 7th Amendment and open deep would say yes I don't never seen anything like that or today Ron I don't have my glasses so this has to be quick I'm hoping it get around to get some videotapes 20 months I laid up after I wrote the bar on him he was relieved off my case only then did will go and have the witness was trying to get out of her seven convicted felonies . Good old Deaver just kept saying 30""" months . Well the people got knocks at there doors by will .p and found out I told the whole thuth . Will got a 250000.00 $1,000 Bond revoked and got all my charges dismissed also I thank judge hackenberry one of the most honest man I've ever met my life you will get a fair trial bendy bogatko in three lies on the stand of not having contact with me lied to the judge that I was in Brunswick County for my old and County was New Hanover lied to the judge and told him that we lost contact me while he had me pull down to two wrecks at a month of the time and never came to see me when you write up a public Pretender like this you must write the Attorney General in Raleigh you must write the bar association clients assistance you must write prison legal services Jennifer hallway Chief public defender and always wild copy with the court clerk send out multiple copies of each and every establishment including the Supreme Court Judge who everybody knows they know what's going on so people like this cannot ruin people's lives buy co-signing with the district attorney on plea deals and not do their job here are copies of both indictments and they clearly State written clearly by a Supreme Court judge if the charges were dismissed when the real lawyer William pedigree did his job by cross-examining Witnesses this lawyer waived my due process hearing right every 60 days and never brought any evidence into court on why I was being held over 20 months it took a lot of work and a lot of my own time to do my little work to reach the right judge make copy sent them out to right organizations including the attorney general which also got mr. Deaver fine anybody that knows how to write up a lawyer needs to write a pro se motion send that to the bar association also to Raleigh prisoner rights organization you must make multiple copies and send them out to you Attorney General court clerk must get all copies but they need to be the originals if you file any motions if your lawyer will not work with you on your own case and takes that as an insult that's because he's a district attorney's puppet in the courtroom and doesn't want to insult the district attorney this guy should be disbarred permanently

AT FIRST I THINK WE HAD A COMMUNICATION PROBLEM BUT ONCE WE GOT OVER THAT PART MR. DEAVER HAS MET ALL MY CONCERNS WITH MY SON'S CASE...EVERYTHING IS GETTING HANDLED AND WE ARE VERY PLEASED WITH HIS SERVICE..

Ben is the man. You get what you pay for. If you want ur case handled, This is the man you want to hire. Also very friendly office staff. If they tell you there going to do something it get done. Highly recommended. Dont let some public defender play with ur life, been there done that an ended up geting screwed by the system.

This firm did not put any care in my sons case. They acted as if they worked for the District Attorney's Office. Only money talks for them. I have had a lot of likes for this posting. Sounds like the lack of representation is still going on. They are rated very poorly. They must be held accountable for their lack of the fiduciary responsibility to their clients. The worst trial attorney in town. They do not even know when motions are to be filed. 3/23/18 Another unpleasant conversation with the office. In fact this time she told she was being rude because I had written a bad review. Wonder if I will get a call back today. BE WARE, Less Than Appropriate Advocate!!! Ben Deaver brought up this review in his second only visit to his client that has been incarcerated for 6 months, which insinuated a less than appropriate advocacy for his client. Instead, the Law office of Deaver & Deaver should look at all the negative reviews of bad customers service and try to improve. As advocate, a lawyer should zealously assert the client's position under the rules of the adversary system. As negotiator, a lawyer seeks a result advantageous to the client but consistent with requirements of honest dealing with others. This does not seem to be Mr. Deaver's form of representation. The office is not customer service friendly, nor is his demeanor. It is hard to have a simple conversation. At the end of the day, he was appointed by the state and has not performed as an advocate or a negotiator. Wondering what professional conduct polices lawyers abide by.

Horrible customer service. Lady at front desk acted like i was a complete idiot and a criminal. Just for asking a few legal questions. She would not let me speek with anyone but her. She also said that the sheriffs department dose not make mistakes! Um isn't that how attorney's win most cases. Scam these people work for the county not you! Shame shame shame!

I got myself in a bit of a legal pickle. Ben Deaver quickly & effectively handled my case at a very reasonable rate... He even convinced me that I was not guilty! All charges dismissed!

I would NOT recommend Mr. Deaver to anyone...... I have called him twice a day if not more for nearly 3 weeks and still no response, so I had to pop up to see him and at that point he stated that he would call me back at the close of business... Im still waiting....His secretary LeAnn is rude and short and seems as though I am bothering her when I call. Mr. Deaver as well as the secretary act as if my husbands case was not of importance and that we were an inconvenience to them. My husband is now serving a sentence that Mr. Deaver stated he would be home in 9 months for a misdemeanor DUI charge but, come to find out that was a lie and he may have to serve 20 months. I think they both feel I will be going away but, I will be fighting for my husbands rights and his freedom even if I have to contact people on my own... Truth be told for the money we spent we could have represented ourselves.... Do yourself a favor, save your money and find yourself another attorney.
