I’ve received representation by Mr. Blake Spale of Shotwell Law on two occasions. He was able to dismiss a simple misdemeanor on the first with me basically doing nothing, and was able to dismiss a DUI (even though I wasn’t 21 at the time of the incident) on the other. All while I had a pending felony in another county (later also dismissed and Blake worked great with my other attorney to stay in touch with information). Great communication, he was always easily accessible through phone or text, and always got the job done with confidence. The office always give me a few days notice before court dates which is awesome. 10/10 recommend.

I want to start by saying that I am in no way someone who ever feels the need to write reviews, whether it be a positive or negative experience, but after working with Blake these past few months, and the outcome we reached this afternoon in court, I felt that there was no possible way I couldn't. This being the first time I've ever required the services of an attorney in no way keeps me from being absolutely confident that not only did i make the right choice, I definitely made the ONLY choice for representation in Wilmington. From my very first call to the office( in which i spoke directly with Blake himself) I couldnt have been more sure of that. All I have to say is, absolutely the best!!

I cannot say enough good things about Shotwell Law Group! I was facing a pretty serious charge of hit and run after hitting the side view mirror of a parked car with mine while driving down the street. Because I saw no damage anywhere on the street or to any car, I didn’t really know what to do. I did report the accident but not until later that day and I was facing a hit and run charge. I’ve never been in any kind of legal trouble before but I was able to talk to Mr. Shotwell right away and he put my mind at ease by explaining everything to me and letting me know what I needed to do every step of the way. His office staff was also very helpful in getting and receiving any documents that needed to be transferred between us. I didn’t even have to appear at my court date but got a call letting me know my charge was dropped and that was all. I cannot thank Mr. Shotwell and his office staff enough for being so cool, so easy to deal with- for their professionalism, promptness and of course for getting my charge dropped. If you’re not sure if you need a lawyer or can’t decide which one to choose, please at least give Mr. Shotwell a call before you decide. I’m so glad I did. Thank you, Mr. Shotwell!!
