I initially was looking for a minority or female owned law firm but those aren’t very common in Wilmington, unfortunately. However, Collins Law Firm was great to work with. They quickly responded to my initial inquiry, sent me all the necessary paperwork the same day and were even able to resolve my speeding ticket the following week. It was a seamless and easy process that saved me probably hundreds of dollars on my insurance. I’d highly recommend them to anyone needing legal assistance with a traffic violation.

I was pulled over driving out of town at a very high rate of speed. I was charged with speeding and reckless driving. I contacted Collins law firm because it is the best reviewed firm on multiple websites. When I first spoke to David, I thought he was trying to scare me so I contacted my local lawyer and another Wilmington area law firm which both confirmed that David was stating facts and that my speed was indeed the highest either of them had ever come across. I decided to go ahead with Collins and expect the worst but hope for the best. I was able to complete 25 hours of community service and 8 hours of driving courses before my court date and David was able to get the speed completely dropped and plead to the reckless so I was able to keep my license and I was not required to travel for court. This was realistically the best outcome I could have hoped for. My advice for someone facing serious traffic offenses is talk to David Collins. I'm sure there are many fine lawyers in the Wilmington area that will cost you less in the short run, but David knows who to talk to and what to say. I think I made the right choice hiring him to represent me.
