As an architect and code expert, I have worked professionally with the Shipman and Wright law firm for over 15 years. When the time came that I needed personal representation, I turned to them for help. From both sides of my relationship, personal and professional, I have found everyone in the firm to be open, communicative and professional. When I needed them personally, they were caring and understanding and provided me with excellent guidance and legal representation that led to a successful resolution in my favor. I have been using Shipman and wright for over 10 years, I've always been surprised with how far they go for their clients. Most of my dealing have been with James Moore and Kim Smith and they have both went way past their duties to ensure I understood the process through every step of the way and with a brain injury it's harder to do then with their normal clients. I can not speak highly enough of how these two have helped me and handled and went out of their way to communicate with me to the point of where I understand what's happening in every action I have brought to them to handle for me. They have handled a few different types of cases for me as well as helped me with a will and handling my affairs if something was to happen to my husband and I for our children. They have also handled a few things for my mother as well as something for my in-laws and in every interaction between myself or a family member we have all been very pleased with their ability to communicate and help us handle our affairs... I can not recommend this law firm and these two individuals enough

I have known Gary Shipman for a very long time. I remember when little cases were important. I am so disappointed at the treatment I received. First let me say Phil is the best. He is nice and kind and I think really tried to help. I understand my problem is not the most profitable or newsworthy for a firm like this, but I also know my problem is big to me. I never received a call, text or email. Over a week of hearing nothing I sent an email to Phil. I needed help and they wouldn’t help so I had to change plans. I understand money is a wonderful thing but I also know small problems are just as important as big money makers..at least to me.

I was pleasantly surprised at the amazing service I received with this firm. Phil was so kind and patient with me. He fully listened to my needs to make sure I was provided the proper attorney. He also took the time to follow up with a check-in to make sure I was satisfied with my appointment. I also want to make note that attorney Joshua MacNamara provided equal service with top notch legal expertise. Everyone was so kind and professional, I highly recommend Shipman & Wright.
