My experience with Cape Fear Family Law was through Matt Geiger attorney-at-law. Matt was very professional and patient guiding me through the process of restraining order, AOF and separation. It was not an easy journey, but Matt was by my side, the whole way through. Cape Fear Family Law uses a team approach which allowed me multiple resources for contact. I highly recommend both Matt and this firm for issues with family law.

Cape Fear Family Law made my divorce so seamless and easy. Janet and her team are all so professional, organized and pleasant to deal with. They had QUICK communication and also used a platform that was very user friendly to be able to communicate with the entire team. Not only that, but the entire team was up to date on my case so if I dealt with different people there was never miscommunication, everyone was on the same page. The entire time was also very sensitive but professional with dealing with this topic of divorce. They made me feel comfortable and like I was in good hands. No one ever wants to go through a divorce but when I found myself in a situation late last year where I knew I had to move forward for the sake of my children, I’m glad I contacted Cape Fear Family Law. I worked closely with Kayleigh Davenport and other members of the team to provide information to them so they could put together a separation agreement. They took what was a very stressful situation and handled the “tough stuff” so I could focus on my kids. Separation and divorce is complicated, especially in NC so I’m glad I hired CFFL. I had a consultation with Erica. My divorce was finalized a couple months ago. I am kicking myself for not choosing this law firm. I signed documents that I did not read or understand in mediation. I lost the house in the divorce settlement. It was my nest egg. I made the mistake of trusting my lawyer. Erica was kind enough to tell me that what happens in mediation is pretty much written in stone. She let me know that she could not help me at this time. I thank her for her honesty. In choosing a divorce attorney: get recommendations from people who have been divorced, look at reviews, and find out what your lawyer's peers think about that attorney !!!!! Beware of legalese. Your lawyer should be educating on the law. I like many know only TV law. I highly recommend Erica and Cape Fear Family Law

I worked with Kayleigh Davenport on my child custody case. She was extremely responsive and knowledgeable. Every time I had a question she was quick to reply and thoroughly explain the process. The entire team was easy to work with. Would definitely recommend.
