Kayleigh Davenport and her team handled my separation and custody agreement with such delicacy, professionalism, compassion, and dedication. A situation that was stressful and heavy was made so much easier and smooth by working with them. Any questions or concerns were answered and explained to make sure that I knew exactly what was happening every step of the way. I cannot recommend Cape Fear Family Law and Kayleigh Davenport enough. Truly I’m so thankful to have had their assistance in navigating this chapter of my life.

I’ve gone through what most lawyers and even judges thought was a one of a kind custody case, the complexities of which had multiple judges in multiple states in confusion. Words cannot explain how wonderful the Cape Fear Family Law have been in these circumstances, especially Waneta Ellis. Mrs Ellis’s knowledge and understanding of the law is remarkable, both in explaining the particulars of the case in layman’s terms to me as well as her presence and demeanor in the courtroom. I was very impressed with the service I received. What really impressed me was how my options were explained. I was shown that it was not in my best financial interest to proceed. Hard to get a response back from anyone

Waneta & Amy are a powerful duo. I live out of state and was concerned at first finding a law firm to trust. After my first consult over the phone with Waneta. I was at ease. They went above and beyond with my emergency custody leading to sole custody case. Response via text/email/phone calls were as if you were talking to family. Fast and caring. Although not an ideal situation to be in. It was nice to know they cared and I wasn’t just another “client”. At the end of the day going through what we went through, I know truly has changed and is going to continue to change my son’s life in a positive way and that’s what mattered to me. A simple google review doesn’t do it justice of how caring they were/are.

I retained Waneta Ellis- she was so great at explaining everything and answering all of my (many) questions. Very quick responses via email and/or phone and so easy to talk to! Would highly recommend her!
