If you are looking for lawyers that will stick with you through thick and thin do NOT go with these people. They came up with excuses that we were dragging our feet and dss got involved but they took 3 months and 2 tries to FINALLY get us papers and when we took two weeks to look over and discuss the papers with the other parties that were on the papers they dropped us. Wanted no part of us and said they would give us some money back but I’m sure it won’t be near the full amount even though they really didn’t do anything.

The Law Office of Cape Fear Family Law is a great firm to fight for your legal battles in court. They are very knowledgeable and will not let you down when your day in court is scheduled. Get your case resolved not just handled or taken care of. Highly recommend this firm.

These guys are amazing. I'm not sure why the other person said they are not responsive as I always get a reply to any email or phone call when I call them. They are very transparent with all that is going on and will work hard to fight for what is fair. I can't say enough good things about them.

This lawyer is the best money can buy in the state of North Carolina, and I know because I called them all looking for someone to take my case that could handle it. She helped me get my daughter back! We ended up with a complete reversal of the order even though the judge had only been awarding split custody. She told me what I had to do and prepped me well. She knew exactly what to say and do at all times! She wasn't afraid to tell me the harsh things that I needed to hear. I will definately hire her again with any other custody problems I may come across in the future. She was organized and brilliant. I am the happiest I've ever been in my life now. I highly recommend Cape Fear Family Law. Brittany and Amy were amazing. Going through a divorce is very difficult and traumatic. I felt that Brittany and Amy, along with everyone else I interacted with there genuinely cared about me and my case. This practice came highly recommended to me, but initially I was a little concerned that a family law practice of women attorneys would tend favor the side of the wife. Nothing could be farther from the truth. They cared about me and my side of the divorce issues and didn't pull any punches. Brittany is a force to be reckoned with. They don't call her "the pit-bull" for nothing! Amy was also very patient with all of my many questions, always had everything organized and in order and communication was very good. I used Cape Fear Family Law on my recent case to have child support re-evaluated. My attorney was Waneta Ellis, who was very professional, and guided me every step of the way. I live in another state and so I had to do all correspondence through emails, and phone calls. She was always available to answer my many of questions, never rushed me, and was truly vested in helping me win the case. She didn’t sugar coat anything, told me the concerns and possibilities of every scenario possible. I was extremely pleased with Waneta, and will use her again in the future if needed!
