Words could never adequately convey how excellent Janet and her entire team are. Having to help my mother through a divorce, I was full of questions and short on answers as this is an experience I had never been through myself. From the first consultation with Janet, she put my mother and I at ease and made the entire process seamless and stress free. She went above and beyond by regularly calling/emailing me and keeping me updated on the current status, and even made suggestions we had never thought of based on our particular circumstances which ultimately resulted in a much better outcome. With many attorneys, there is always the pressure of being driven or blinded by money, while the clients are left behind as merely an afterthought. Not with Janet, as she always kept our best interests first and made us a priority. She could not have been more graceful with my mother, and I am forever indebted to her for that. Should you ever need representation in a field she specializes in, do yourself a favor and hire Janet. She is an absolute rockstar!

Cape Fear Family Law did a great job with my custody case. Specifically, Matthew Geiger did an outstanding job! He successfully defend an ex parte order filed against me during the holidays, and that saved my Christmas with my son. Over the years, I've witnessed a lot of other custody hearings before mine was heard. I've seen enough of those hearings to decipher the good from bad lawyers and Matt is the best I've seen in action thus far. I have never seen an attorney as tenacious and passionate in defending others as he is. No one ever wants to go through a divorce but when I found myself in a situation late last year where I knew I had to move forward for the sake of my children, I’m glad I contacted Cape Fear Family Law. I worked closely with Kayleigh Davenport and other members of the team to provide information to them so they could put together a separation agreement. They took what was a very stressful situation and handled the “tough stuff” so I could focus on my kids. Separation and divorce is complicated, especially in NC so I’m glad I hired CFFL. They were professional, kind, and communicative. I would definitely recommend Kayleigh for those who find them in the unfortunate position of needing a separation agreement / divorce.
