I am a Tax Partner with a local CPA firm in the triad, and for the last 3 years, I’ve referred most of my clients over to Surratt Thompson and Ceberio for any and all legal, estate and business advisory needs. To be a bit more specific, I have solely worked with AJ Ceberio, and the feedback that I receive from all of these clients is glowing, to say the least. Some descriptions that I’ve heard in regards to the work are…”professional, responsive, creative, timely, efficient, worth it, affordable”, and the list goes on. I will continue to refer clients their way as AJ has become my go-to guy with anything complex over in the legal world.

My family has had the unfortunate fortune of getting Bryan Thompson assigned as the executor to my grandfather’s estate by the court. 1. He does not return phone calls. 2. When trying to set up a meeting in person his schedule is so busy it is over a month before a meeting time is available. 3. He is showing partiality to one heir even though the other heirs are united in their wishes and have the majority of the percentage. 4. His law firm changed addresses and did not bother to inform the heirs (or at least not all of them. He may have informed the one he is showing partiality to). They are his clients. 5. My cousin removed several items of value from my grandfathers property and he has made minimal effort to have these items returned even though the location of the items was made known to him 6 months ago. 6. He has not shown due diligence to make sure the heir favored by him is not embezzling from the business that is in the estate even though evidence of this has been presented to him by the other heirs. They have requested monthly financial statements and he will not bother to get them. This is not an unreasonable request.
He has made dealing with the unpleasantness of the will a nightmare that has dragged out for over a year.
