Hired Jessica for a family law case and the communication was not up to par, would not recommend.

Very unreliable attorney. Was told that I would receive a phone call on a certain date. Three days later I still hadn't received the phone call. Then I called the attorney's office and was given another scheduled date for a phone consultation on a certain date and time. After waiting for exactly one week I sill hadn't received the phone call consultation. So when I called the attorney's office to talk with them about their negligence on keeping the appointment, I was told that they were short staffed. Short staffed? For an entire week? I told them that someone could have at least called me to let me know that the appointment would need to be rescheduled for a later date. There is no excuse for this negligence and incompetence. Completely and totally unreliable! I wouldn't recommend this attorney to anyone. Don't waste you time with this attorney. A total letdown!

Greenwood Law is an excellent firm. The managing partner Dylan Greenwood understands the legal process and took my entire family into consideration as he worked through my case. UPDATE: 50 days and still nothing. Would not recommend Jessica or her assistant Rebekah. They do not respond to emails or return calls to their clients or Opposing side Attorney/Assistant (she does read the emails, Read receipts sent). We had court on 21st of May. It is now 27th of JUNE and we are still waiting on documents/Schedule. However, when you do get lucky and get ahold of Jessica she is conveniently “Working on it” that day. 37 DAYS has went by, still nothing. No email/call back from her or her assistant. At bare minimum, I feel like her paying client should receive some type of communication. Her client and I have a very unique Child custody schedule(Per judges, ruling) Which we are both still confused about, and have to regularly text each other to understand it, Judge asked her to fill out his work schedule and send it over. Also, still waiting on an order and paperwork regarding child support/back pay. If you were needing anything done in a timely manner, I would not recommend Jessica. I understand that she has been in court for several days during this 37 day waiting period, However, she has not been in court for 37 days straight.

Smart, aggressive, and knowledgeable.

I can not say enough about Jessica Armentrout and her team. As a male I was trying to get custody of my kids here in NC. Jessica was incredible at gathering facts and deciphering little details that absolutely mattered in the long run. Now, after 3 years removed from being granted custody, there is no doubt Jessica is the reason for my kids doing so well and thriving in life. Family court is tough and the outcomes can be very hard to manage. Jessica and her team were sensitive to my entire family's needs and managed the case with authority and wisdom. If i could give anyone advice going through such a life change, it would be to hire Jessica. She is the voice of reason and protection you need in a time like this. To ANY father going through something like this, HIRE Jessica. She is honest, fair, and well worth any money I paid. Thank you Jessica. You changed the trajectory of my family and we are forever grateful!

These guys are great handled and disposed of two cases for me.

I paid my consultation fee and met up with greenwood law. After that I’ve probably called them 5 times. Yes they’ve answered but have yet to get a call back either of the times. And I don’t even think they replied to any of my emails. Ridiculous. I tried being patient but I’m just gonna move on with another attorney that takes me more serious. Edit: They replied to my google review faster than my phone calls. So now Im going to post a picture of me calling and not getting a call back. One thing about me is I’m not a liar and I’m not the type to down talk a company when I’ve actually got good service.

I retained both Morgan and Jessica to represent me in my criminal and civil cases I was facing.Morgan who was my criminal lawyer was great to work with very understand and treated me with the upmost respect and done great representing me.Jessica on the other hand who was my civil lawyer was very disrespectful most of the case,constantly getting hateful towards me and seemed like she didn’t believe anything I said and would make smart remarks towards me during phone conferences,meeting,and court dates.It would take her sometimes days or even a week to respond to my emails getting ill over me violating a 50b my daughters mother had on me which the majority of the charges were not true and could have presented evidence to the judge to show how I was being blackmailed instead Jessica done nothing to even attempt to see my side of things needless to say she’s not a people person when it comes to a father fighting to see his daughter.

I've worked with this firm now for over two years and all I can say is the attorneys & staff all seem to be 100% focused on their clients needs.
