Ignores clients and waits to the last minute to inform you of information needed. Been working with them for years and accomplished nothing.

Not knowing where to begin with my estate planning, I found the initial Zoom seminar Salem Law offered very helpful in identifying what I needed to consider. We set up several appointments to cover various aspects I needed for a will, irrevocable trust and health care directive. I am very pleased with the outcome of my estate plan and would recommend Daniel Umlauf and the whole team at Salem Law to anyone looking to plan their estate.

Super bummed. Daniel came highly recommended. I Had a zoom meeting scheduled and he was 15 minutes late to, and thus not prepared and had little to say after taking the initial $300.00 fee. Then to discover "he sent the email to a wrong email address". It took me emailing the firm @ 4pm on a Wednesday and then a response on Thursday. As for his "wisdom and insight as an attourney", here's the answer he gave: "I have already overextended myself on this". Funny thing is I had found the answer he gave me Google search about a month ago in about one minute. So I didn't have a good experience. Sorry

The Salem Law team offers an introduction to estate law in NC for new clients before starting with the actual legal process, which was really helpful to me since I knew very little going in. Getting my documents set up was simple and everything was completed in a timely manner. Daniel and his staff are just lovely, as well.
