I found them after conducting a google search. I went on their website filled out their form describing why I was searching for legal assistance. Initially they were quick infact a Mr. Zurz called me personally to hear my story and then sell their amazing capabilities and the special attorney he was going to assign to me if I decided to choose their firm. I decided to at least speak with his attorney, Sean Buchanon (claiming to be the only real litigator at the firm) at Slater & Zurz he indicated I had a case in which he could litigate and win. His target number was $100k. Well after several years the case went to trial. The day of the trial, I walked into the courtroom only to realize this was the first time I was going to meet my attorney - never dawned on me I do not even know what he looks like. Then I realized we never once strategized prior to this day. He did not discuss what questions he was going to ask, how should handle questions from the defense, he never asked for income verification nothing, he never discussed with the court how painful it was having over 75 stiches in my face, never showed a single bill to the court. It was a simple case that was easily won but because "WE" did not demonstrate to the court any pain and suffering or out of pocket expenses the jury quickly rendered a verdict in our favor but without any idea on how much they determined I should receive $5,000.00 not the $100,000 they thought I would get. I then expressed my disappointment with them and they decided to pull out of the case and not even attempt to collect the $5,000. Thank you Slater & Zurz. I am wondering if there is a malpractice suit here?

They are very friendly and very personable, the customer service is excellent. When you call and ask if you might have a case they take the time to talk to you like a person. Thank you

Mr. Robert Horton(our attorney)treated us like family and was personable! He was faced with the arduous tasks of dealing with the insurance companies, while keeping the lines of communication open! We were always informed! Thanks again & thanks also to Mr. Slater & Mr. Zurz!

Slater & Zurz is a very trustworthy company, the staff is super nice and treat you like your part of the family. They also take the time and go over your case and all of documents with you and there are no hidden fees, they tell you everything. They will also give you updates of the case when they get them.You can call any time of the day and Someone is always there to answer any questions. This was the best lawyer experience I ever had. I was stress free. The work with me and help me out through the process. I would recommend anybody with problems to get a hold of this law firm. Mr. John Lynett and staff went out of their way to make sure that I was compensated for everything that had happened with my accident.

I had the opportunity to work with Mr. Jim Slater and one of his trial attorneys, Mr. Robert Horton. Both were very professional, yet down to earth, kind and welcoming. Their attention to detail and work ethic are unbeatable. As a layperson, not fully informed on the system of law, they were able to explain everything I needed to know, and prompt regarding timelines, I recommend their services, should they be needed to anyone.

John Lynett was the worst experience I've ever encountered! Unfortunately after having a horrible outcome with him in a prior case I still went back a second time as the experience with the chiropractor he recommended was pleasant. I gave him the benefit of the doubt hoping things would be better- No! Either this old man is washed up and unskilled at settlements or he's a crook; or both. He works extremely slow and I often felt that I needed an attorney for my attorney. I would not recommend him to anyone!
