Bit by my sister-in-law's rescue dog. Deep ankle wound required a couple of surgeries and a skin graft. Attorney, Brandon Dean, navigated a difficult case. Insurance company was non-responsive, family relations became strained, and I live in NY. Mr. Dean displayed an impressive mix of patience and persistence in order to bring case to a desired result. I feel fortunate to have had such excellent representation.

..in February 2016 I was bitten by a neighbor’s dog while going out to pick up my Sunday paper..transported by ambulance to an area ER..7 hours later I headed home with 11 staples and a handful of Rx which needed to be filled and initiated immediately..three months later and after numerous doctor visits I have a seven inch ragged scar on my arm..along the way the owners insurance company denied the claim but paid for the “supplies”..I kept calling for info/next steps..they kept sending me form letters and never returning my calls..if this begins to sound similar to your situation here is what I have done to alleviate my growing frustration and feeling of being stone walled.... ..I vetted numerous law firms in my area and my research consistently came up with one firm..Slater & Zurz in Akron.. ..I called and within days I met with James Slater to discuss my issues..he listened very thoughtfully to my questions and addressed my issues one at a time..at no point did I feel pushed or pursued..he asked how and what questions and was never judgemental..he carefully outlined any next steps should I decide to contract with his organization to represent me and bring closure to my claim..I agreed to bring Slater and Zurz into my team.. ..I have now been working with Slater & Zurz for the past 11 days..the assigned team is focused, in touch, and working with me to close this awkward injury issue once and for all.. My mother fell and broke her hip. The first lawyer I hired was terrible. I had to log into the docket everyday just to make sure he was doing his job. I was really disappointed in the Akron Police Department who was reviewing my accident report. When Slater & Zurz, and attorney Michael Schmeltzer, took on my case I was very pleased. They made me feel secure and that they were on my side to make sure they could help me to the best of their ability. I liked best their assurance. I had the best experience with Slater and Zurz. I was in an automobile accident in 2013. I contacted the firm that same day and Mr. Slater was more concerned about my health than anything else. I found this surprising since some attorneys are ambulance chasers. Every time I ever met with Mr. slater and his staff they were so nice and personable. Mr. Slater makes you feel like your a family member, and he always asked how I was doing and I could feel his genuine concern for me. After my case was settled they were able to get me max policy, which helped pay all my medical bills and put money in my bank. I highly recommend these attorneys!!!!!

I have to say Mike is by far the best lawyer I have ever used and I will never need to find another. He settled a case and was able to collect on what I thought was going to be an uncollectable case he worked hard and persevered. I can't thank him enough. He worked with me on pricing and turned a horrible situation I was facing into a positive. I not only have a lawyer for life but a friend as well!

I was hit by a snow plow in 2014. It totaled my car, I missed 2month's of work. I hadn't called off in year's,since my kid's were small. My whole world turned upside down in a few seconds. A friend told me about Slater & Zurz, they took care of me from the very first day until we won our case. Attorney John Lynett was assigned to take on my case. Even when the other side came back with a very low number, he said if it was him,he would keep fighting,but it was up to me. I totally agreed with him and after a few more months, we won our case. My 22,000 in medical bills were paid. My remaining doctor bills were paid and I even got quite a bit in my pocket. I would definitely recommend John Lynett and this firm to anyone who needs help.

If i can give these guys 0 stars i would. I don't know why their ratings are so good, but when i was in an accident, i called asking for help. I spoke with James Luna, and he was very unresponsive. If he didn't want to take my case, he could have at least had the decency to say so instead of letting me get harassed by bill collectors at 9 months pregnant! These people are TERRIBLE !

My wife and I would like to take a second and thank Slater and Zurz LLP for not only help guide me in my case but actually saving my life! If it was not for the caring loving guidance Mr Slater and his firm gave me I would not be alive next summer. You see I was in a car accident and was banged up so I was talking with the insurance company that represented the other driver, told them the situation. They were really quick to want to write me a check and tell me give it time I will be fine. This did not sit right with me. So I was referred to Slater and Zurz and Mr. Luna was very helpful and within a few minute of talking with him Mr. Slater himself had called me and gave me suggested on what to do never once did they ask me to sign papers or hire them to represent me they both where more worried about my welfare. So I took care of my health and went to a few specialist and had a MRI done come to find out I was stage 3 moving into stage 4 kidney cancer I had a 5cm growth on and eating through my kidney my Dr in 30yrs of practice never seen something so bad in alive patient with no symptoms. His exact words where "you would not be here next June if we did not find this on your MRI". So I just want people to know what a GREAT THOUGHTFUL FIRM THEY ARE!! Mr Slater and Mr Luna my wife and I thank you for extending our life together!!
