I was very well pleased with John Lynnett Jr. representation and professionalism. He communicated very well, made sure that I understood everything, he took care of everything and made sure things went smoothly which ultimately lead to me receiving the consumption that I had in mind from the beginning. I would strongly recommend his representation, especially to someone who knows little about claims, such as myself due to his trust worthy.

They acually care, takes time never felt like our case wasn't important. Always kept us updated on any items needed or how case was progressing. Result of case was more than expected not that a loss can be moniterized. Firm was excatly who was supposed to handle our case, their professionalism from everyone invoulved top notch.

I don’t feel like I got the best representation my case was drugged out way too long. I was Attorney to let him take it to court because I will come out better and nothing but time pass And the case wasn’t taking the court I asked for him to go after the diminished value of my vehicle, and he told me to wait because that will be taken care of settlement in court. In the meanwhile, the company sent me a check. He told me to go ahead and take that and he would go after the rest. So much time I passed by he told me, then not to take it to court and to settle for way less value Of my truck I don’t feel like he fought for me so after I was hit from behind and had an attorney, my truck is diminished value that he did not fight for and when I questioned him about it, he yelled at me and said just take the money I’m supposed to just forget it. I’ll get nothing out of it. Every time I question him about something, he yelled at me and had a temper tantrum And I didn’t think that was fair. So I took his advice, and now my truck has less value and I don’t feel like I got the full capability that I could have got for my Kayce. I went to all the doctors appointments that he told me too for the other company. I waited like he asked me to because he told me that he was gonna take it to Court trust him keep waiting after so long. He did none of that and settled for less than what I could’ve got. So I waited for a long time, and I don’t feel like I came out on top for me to have been a victim I feel like my representation was not there. It should’ve been for me to have an attorney.

This law firm is one you should entertain if you’ve been in a mild car accident where you’ve not been injured and are hoping to get a basicwindfall from insurance. Attorney John Lynett Jr. could not be bothered with asking about my experiences after my injury. My initial consultation with him was so poor I had requested another attorney and decided to give him a second chance. I should have trusted my intuition. If he was a capable and caring attorney at one point in his career, that point passed long ago. This law firm could not keep accurate the expenses which had been incurred during my treatment. If you have a long treatment time after your accident, do not trust they will be able to track these expenses. Nor did anyone take time to see fit to touch base on that prior to my mediation, which they had allowed opposing attorney to defer twice prior. (I traveled from Canton, Ohio to Lorain, Ohio for a mediation which never happened, due to lack of communication.) They paid a doctor $3000 out of my settlement to go to trial, prior to having a jury trial… which never happened. *EDIT* I happened to speak to this doctor on 08/28/2024, where he provided direct conversations he had with Atty. Lynett where he offered to waive his retainer fee as I was a patient of his. John Lynett said no you don’t have to do that because that’s some thing the other side will be paying for. He stated that Atty. Lynett was difficult to work with, difficult to hear back from and expected most things to be done on his own last minute time frame. John Lynett did not make the insurance company take care of those charges which resulted in more money lost from my own personal injury settlement. I brought these and other concerns to the attention of the primary of the firm, Robert Zurz and he stands behind the mishandling by Atty. Lynett. * Yes, this firm did reduce some of the expenses. Sadly, that didn’t cover the amount of my expenses which they couldn’t document accurately or see fit to have an actual conversation about. And even down to the eventual settlement date, I couldn’t get the basic courtesy of asking what time/date would be convenient for me to travel to Akron for resolution. I had a several day notice to work around Atty. John Lynett Jr. ‘s very limited schedule. On the day of resolution when I discovered they could not bring themselves to have an accurate documentation of my expenses, I mentioned it to Atty. John Lynett Jr. After I did so, his demeanor instantly changed. And after all this, instead of being apologetic, what he resorted to was slamming the pen and legal documents on the table like a petulant child for me to sign. I spoke to the head of the firm after my horrible experiences with Atty. Lynett and he asked me how he could make it right. I advised him that apology would do from the attorney. That never happened. And, established business don’t reduce fees just because. The fees were reduced because their services were botched. Save yourself a lot of headaches and stress and go with a more caring and aware law firm. It wasn’t the legal system I didn’t meet my needs. It was your firm that didn’t meet my needs.

John Lynett was awesome!! He was always available and willing to answer any questions that I had. He just all around made me feel comfortable with the process every step of the way and he’s a great guy. I appreciate all of his help.

If I could give a 10 star review I would! My case with this firm was so overwhelming, but the attorney who handled my case did it with a calm demeanor in a professional manner. Often dealing with a traumatic event is difficult, but having a firm like Slater & Zurz in your corner makes at least the legal element much easier to deal with. I cannot say enough positive things about this firm and their professional and compassionate employees. I definitely recommend them.

Helped me through my time of a car accident back in 21, Mr. Horton did fight for me on whom was at fault, the other party ran a red light on me and we didn’t know if we were going to be able to determine that. But he did, and has gotten me some money back. He was great! Thanks for all your help.
