While preparing a title for a purchase of a property, this lawyer totally demonstrated his negligence and/or incompetence. Several months after the transaction, we were served with notice of a pending sherrif's sale on the property due to several lienholders filing foreclosure proceedings. This lawyer had either never done a thorough title search or ignored his findings in an effort to defraud us. We ended up paying over $15,000 to satisfy lienholders to receive a clear title.

In doing a home sale for us, this lawyer did not do a thorough title search. He supposedly had produced a free and clear title. However, the truth was that several months later, he had not done so. We later were served with a a forclosure notice by the county due to funds owed to several companies that had liens against the property. We ended up having to pay over $15,000 to these lien holders in order for the Ashland County Sheriff's Department to stop the foreclosure. Unfortunately, there was no recourse for us against Mr. Good (some name for such a shyster). I encourage absolutely no one to use this particular lawyer as he never offered any form of remuneration to us for his gross negligence. I believe he may have wanted to purchase the property himself in a sheriff sale. In my opinion, he is a total crook and should be disbarred by the Ohio Bar Association.
