My family business of35 years was completely stolen why these guys only gave us a big bill. Cowardly greedy as is typical these days

Avoid these attorneys at all costs. I was a customer for 10 years, my original attorney left and we decided to stay. The new attorney makes me extremely uncomfortable. We asked him to help with a simple lease assignment. He ended up bringing on an additional attorney, charged us almost $10,000 for a very common/simple review. We did not ask for 2 attorney's to review this. When communicating with the attorneys they go out of their way to drag out conversations, they act like they don't comprehend what you say and then draw out the conversations to make it look like they actually were getting work done. Most recently, we were potentially acquiring another unit in our franchise. I specifically told them NOT to file paperwork or work on this. Today, we received a bill where they want to charge us for the work I specifically told them not to do. And to top it off, they are claiming that both attorney's put work in on this when they were told not to. I would not trust this company, it seems like have lost their principles, lack transparency, and are deceitful in their practices.

A fantastic firm.

I have delt with this law firm twice so far. The first time they defended me over a frivolous lawsuit. They were terrific and the case went completely in my favor. The second time I dealt with them they were handling business affairs for a mutual client. They were absolutely fantastic to deal with once again. Very expert, easy to work with, fair, prompt and efficient. They are everything you want in a firm to represent your interest.

Attorney David Weirsma is unprofessional, unresponsiveness, and overall not a pleasure to deal with.

I have no specific relationship with this particular law firm but they participate in spam email campaigns. I have a problem with this. For example, who did they get my email from and why are they soliciting for business to random individuals. I have never met Douglas J. Swearingen Jr. Esq. But the only impression he has made is a negative one. Update: The owner has since apologized which I appreciate and have adjusted my review accordingly.

If you want the best, this firm is who you hire.
