I can not express how much I would recommend Mr. Ball. He’s represented me on numerous cases over the years. He’s straightforward, whether it’s what I wanted to hear or not. His fees are extremely reasonable. I’ve always received a call back within a decent time frame. Again, whether domestic, juvenile, or criminal cases, I would recommend!!

Helped my son hire this attorney for a custody case. Just a warning, he charges his $300 an hour fee for every task at hand and there is an additional $65 an hour fee for the paralegal. One email sent (that normal people can write in less than 5 minutes) boom $65 charge. A fax that takes 2 minutes - boom another $65. A 10 minute phone call to receive an update about your case BOOM $300!!!! He is not $300 an hour, he is $300 per task. Additionally, his paralegal is $65 per task. Just beware

Doug did an excellent and thorough job with everything from the initial consultation to turning myself in for an outstanding warrant to the actual hearings. I received a lot of practical and useful advice during the process. For example, being sure to arrive at the police station extremely early in the morning to make sure that any bond hearing would likely make it to the morning docket and avoid having to spend any potential time in custody. This worked out wonderfully on my behalf, as the officer was able to issue a recite which created a new hearing date and only took a few hours, including travel to make it such a worthwhile trip. He obviously was very seasoned and new everyone in the courthouse which I thought was very advantageous. And the best part of all is that he had done his homework and negotiating and ultimately got my case dismissed. This allows me to regain my driving privileges without any restriction. I simply could not be happier with the services and expertise that Doug & his staff brought to the table.

I recently hired Douglas Ball to represent my 11 year old daughter in a restraining order court that my son's father had gotten for my 13 yr old son against his baby sister. It has been a nerve racking experience to say the least but when we were just about to lose all hope Douglas really went above and beyond and actually seemed to genuinely care unlike some of the previous lawyers we've had. He answered all my questions and listened to my entire story of 10+ years of court battles with my son's father and I couldnt be any more grateful. I'll be hiring him for our next custody battle as well. I highly recommend

My girlfriend hired this lawyer to represent her in a child custody case. He said he was 365$ a hr and requested a $2,000 dollar retainer to start. We then had one zoom meeting trial for 30 minutes and prior we spoke about scheduling a all day trial as he called it thats normally 6 to 7 hours and he requested $5,000 dollars if we would like one with him as her lawyer. We told him she didn't have 5,000 dollars and no way to pay him so not to schedule or request a all day trial. He then requested a all day trial against his clients wishes. After the zoom meeting alone in his office he placed his hand on my attractive 20yr old girfriends hand and told her that if she didn't find some way to pay him and he (specifically) wasn't her lawyer she would be torn apart in court. I'll let you decide what he was wanting given he made physical contact and knew she didn't have $5,000 dollars. He then requested to be released as our lawyer one he found out we wouldn't give him $5,000 dollars or do anything immoral to pay him. After that we had to call about the $2,000 dollar retainer expecting a partial refund. When confronted about the touching of my girlfriend and told we would be filing a complaint with the state bar he hung up the phone on us. A few days later we received a email containing his charges and he said we owed him over $300 dollars over the $2,000 paid in advance. He even charged her $65 for speaking to me asking for my credit card to get the $2,000 retainer. Plus $65 dollars for every email they forwarded from the other lawyer. Douglas ball did not defend her best interest in any way and provided no real service. To our knowledge he didn't even file for discovery or gain any knowledge about the court case that could be useful. We still haven't received any paperwork or evidence from his office showing that he did anything except a bill. As a top google reviewer with 2 million views im hoping this review with save others from making the mistake of hiring this lawyer and that women will think twice before going into a room alone with this man. I will let you decide how he wanted paid $5,000 dollars from a young, attractive woman wanting representation and clearly stated she had no income and no way to pay him. She even told me right after the zoom meeting that he made her feel uncomfortable and kept staring at her legs the whole time she was alone in a dress in his office. We are still going to file a complaint with the syate bar against him for ridiculous fees charged and what we believe should constitute as sexual harassment. But we will let the courts and state bar decide if his actions and words warrant disciplinary actions. My review is to never consider using this lawyer in any situation. In my opinion he is of low moral and ethical character and should lose his license to pratice law in Ohio.

Mr. Ball has repeatedly help me navigate legal challenges and issues, he's great in court!!! He has helped several of my friends get out of DUIs I and bad relationships. He's very ethical and upfront, his rates are lower than other attorneys I have found. I know he won a major workplace injury case years ago involving a public utility that seriously injured an employee. I've known them for years. Highly recommend

This is the kind of lawyer who will tell one price then when it's court time, leave you hanging unless you pay more... The guys a joke and should be disbarred...
