I was with my leashed 39-pound Corgi when a neighbor walking across the street dropped the leash of his 150- pound Bernise Mountain Dog. The dog suddenly and without warning barreled across and ran into us, knocking me down. My forehead hit the cement sidewalk and I suffered a concussion. Since this was the second time in 6 months that we'd been attacked by the same dog, I was determined there would not be a third time. My municipality did not take this assault seriously, nor did the mayor!. Mike Goldstein, Esq. took the case. Although it required over a year for speech therapy and other assistance, Mike and staff worked diligently toward a settlement to force the owner to hire a trainer to help him and his wife better control their dog. I was pleased with the results, have not had further difficulty, and am appreciative of the legal skills of Goldstein and Goldstein.
