Sheldon volunteers his time every year in a mentorship program run by the Ohio State Bar. This program connects well-established lawyers in the area with rookie lawyers who just passed the Bar, in an effort to help them get on their feet find their way as a new lawyer. Sheldon was my mentor when I passed the Bar, and I can honestly say he made a significant and positive impact on my career and my life. He's knowledgeable about the law, he's wise, and he also shares some great stories. He helped me make some critical decisions in the early stages of my career, which put me on the path to success, thankfully. Sheldon is a great man with a kind heart, who cares about the people he works with, whether you're a colleague or a client. 5 stars across the board.

I came to Sheldon with a discrimination and workplace hostility case. I was very frightened. Sheldon listened very carefully and with a great deal of compassion. He pays meticulous attention to detail. He has pursued my case with dedication and voracity. I could not have asked for better council or better experience. He is absolutely dedicated to his clients. I would refer anyone to him. Sheldon will fight for you. Update a year later. Sheldon stood by me throughout my case. He checked with updates and just to see how I was coping with my stressful situation. He didn't need to, but he did. His work is more than what he can bill for. Mr. Sheldon Starke is a great lawyer who is relentless in his fight for justice. Some may consider him old-fashioned; however, this is coincidentally the source of his true strength and leverage. Over the many decades he has been practicing law, he has accumulated many contacts and sources of expertise across many different aspects of his life. While it is impractical and impossible to know every aspect of knowledge let alone the wide breadth of law, you must consult be able to find and consult the right person to guide your case in the right direction. If you have a very difficult problem with an ambiguous answer, Mr. Starke may not have the best immediate answer at hand; however, Mr. Starke can succinctly frame the core legal problem and refer to one of his many expert contacts who can provide a more definitive answer that you are looking for. I have experienced on numerous occasions where even in dire situations, Mr. Starke continuously found and created new opportunities to not only solve the problem at hand but also revitalize momentum in the right direction.
