My experience with Hallock and Associates has been fantastic. They made what should have been a difficult procedure much less so by patiently responding to my many questions. When I was stressed out about paying off my bills, they helped me relax. I appreciate their help very much.

Their program to help people get out of debt has great customer service. It was easy to get answers to all of my questions, so I feel good about going on.

Hallock & Associates has the best support staff in the business. I received my first payment after only six months, and things have gone swimmingly ever since.

When I was having financial difficulties, a coworker suggested I check out Hallock. Despite my initial skepticism, I made the call, and it ended up being one of the best choices I ever made. Your help and generosity are much appreciated.

agreed to pay $795 per month for 5 years to Hallock & Associates as settlement for debts owned to creditors. After 1 year and 12 regular payments ($9540) to be exact, I do have one of 3 settlements. Hallock & Associates say they are talking to the creditors but have another attorney contacting me who was contracted by them. After two summons, I contacted Hallock & Associates, and the negotiator asked for an additional $500/month or to extend the original contract 3 more years! Adding to this post, I also just received a default judgement against another case plus costs. When they sign you up its such a relief and you feel as though they really want to help. Now I'm thinking I shouldve just kept struggling. This stress, along with the death of my Mother in Law and another mother very ill is going to send me to a hospital. They couldn't explain where all the money had gone, but still wanted more. It's ridiculous and seemed wonderful at first, but now I wonder if it's just a scam to take my money . I did my part- They've messed up and expected me to carry the burden . I really thought they were trying to help, but bankruptcy or another company may have been a better choice. You can't squeeze water out of a dry sponge. I'd like to have the $9500 back and go with someone who is really trying to help someone in trouble. I WILL FOLLOW UP on how this was handled . As it looks, I'll lose more money than I was told and it's causing more stress than imaginable in my life.

I would advise against using this company. I was excited to finally start getting my finances in order. When I joined Hallock and Associates I had a close to 700 credit score and I was not late on any payments at all. Now I have a score in the 500’s and they let two of my accounts fall into litigation. I had zero communication with any one from Hallock and associates unless I called. On top of all of it, they had to hire a local attorney to deal with the litigation accounts and even that attorney said he has zero communications with Hallock and associates. Whenever they said they would call me back with more information. I never heard anything. A year went past, and only one of my six accounts. Had gone into a payment plan. At that point, I received the opportunity to go with a lending company, called Versara. I wanted to do anything I could to get away from Hallock and associates. I am hoping this company will be better. Once I went with Versara, all of my loans started to get offers because the funds were there through the Versara loan. I highly recommend just finding a debt consolidation loan rather than going through Hallock and associates. Oh, and I forgot to mention that I received a $1400 fee that I was never told about and never really got an explanation to what it was for. Do your research. I wish I had read reviews before I went with them.

I agreed to pay $1100 per month to Hallock & Associates as settlement for a debt owned to a creditor. After 3 months and 3 regular payments , Hallock & Associates didn't forward a single payment to the creditor - almost resulting in a wage garnishment order against me. I contacted Hallock & Associates and the negotiator asked for an additional $400/month to reinstate the agreement . They couldn't explain why they had drafted $1100 ( 3x) from the account and not paid the creditor - but still wanted more . It's ridiculous and a scam . I did my part- They screwed and expected me to carry the burden . The negotiator gave me his number to call but it went straight to voicemail every time i called. I dont understand why Hallock couldnt simply apply the payments to the debt and reinstate the agreement ( which hasn't changed according to the creditor) instead of asking me to pay an additional $400 per month

My favorite part of this review is that the responded that they’d call yet we’ve heard nothing still 2 weeks later lol. This is the worst company. I wish I never got into services with them because it’s impossible to cancel.
We’re in a debt consolidation program with them & there’s no communication. I’ve been begging for a call or email for months. If I could cancel the program I would. Take your business elsewhere

By and large positive experiences. Had one minor issue but it was resolved to my liking. Overall I would recommend. Just make sure you can cancel automatic payments to your creditors otherwise the program won't work for you. That issue isn't on Hallock though.
