I had no idea what to expect going into my divorce, but from the first time I met Todd he was wonderful. He listened to my concerns and gave me helpful feedback and a strategy every step of the way. He goes above and beyond to respond to any questions or issues via email or phone night, day and weekends to keep you updated on your situation. I would highly recommend Todd to friends and family if they are ever in need of a Divorce lawyer!

Our son has Aspergers and the school district refused to follow or work within the guidelines of his IEP. They tried to punish his disability out of him. Todd was able to not only help our son, but in the process clear up a bunch of issues other students with disabilities had in the district. I would recommend him to anyone.

A Family member had recommended Mr. Kotler to us and we are so grateful that he did! Todd has done an excellent job in our case and we will continue to go to him for years to come. When we would get really stressed out from what was happening in our case, we would email Todd, even on the weekends, and he would work quickly to put us at ease. Word of mouth is often the best way to find what your looking for and we've recommended Todd to others needing a good Attorney. He is knowledgeable, trustworthy, witty and kind and knows how to treat his clients!

Attorney Todd Kotler is a very knowledgeable and conscientious attorney who delves into the intricacies of a case and considers these details thoughtfully. He then offers effective strategies and responses and stays involved with additional information as he locates answers in his research. I recommend him for anyone dealing with educational law issues, especially those interested in an attorney that will mediate the situation effectively rather than inviting an adversarial environment that can be damaging to a case or relationship between parents and school personnel. The only minor fuss I had was that this attorney will email and will ask you to call initially rather than reaching out to you via phone call. I first was concerned about his dedication or interest level and almost didn't call yet he impressed me after our phone conversation, which involved a thorough consultation even on the weekend!

Mr Kotler worked tirelessly on my high conflict divorce and custody case. He was diligent and remained on the high road when if was very difficult to do so because of the tactics of opposing counsel. I am glad I hired Mr Kotler and trust him with the case...as his professionalism, made sure I could sleep at night. He is an excellent, witty and trustworthy lawyer who deserves the superb rating.

I was introduced to Todd through a mutual friend to help me with a financial lawsuit I was determined to file. Todd moved quickly to gather all of the information from me in a interview process that seemed to last forever. He spent a considerable time in this process asking me questions that in some cases I believed to be irrelevant. However, I also sensed there was a method behind the madness. The questions I had for him were answered satisfactory and the questions he couldn't answer for me immediately were provided to me the next day. All of this was very impressive. Todd then kept me updated from his research on my case as we moved forward to our court date. The reason I marked him as good and not excellent on keeping me informed, is that Todd seemed to have taken ownership of my case and handled some on the minor details that I wasn't always told about right away. I looked as this as a positive as I don't need my attorney calling me for every little aspect of the trial.....just get me the results and don't rack up my hours. So in that sense I was fine with the communication. If you are the type of client that needs your hand held throughout the process, maybe Todd isn't your guy. I find those types of Attorney's as ones that are preparing you for a bad outcome anyways. As we moved forward with the proceedings it was clear to the Court that Todd was prepared and I was very satisfied. I believe the success that Todd has had is in direct correlation to his first interview he put me through. The interview that I thought was too long and had too many questions. However it was those details that won my case. As a self employed business man, I have dealt with the courts more than I would like, however it is the nature of my business. I believe that an Attorney/Client relationship has be be based on the individuals involved. Certain Attorneys may not be right for certain individuals and visa versa. I have a great deal of trust and confidence in Todd. I would suggest that if you need an Attorney, speak with Todd and make you own determination of the qualities I have mentioned. It is my hope that I never need an Attorney again, however if I do Todd will be the first one I call.
